Politics.ie fully respects and supports your right to online privacy and informed consent. No personal information whatsoever is required or requested in order for you to access the information and services on this site. You may access this site in total anonymity if you wish.

If you register as a member of this site, your account will include the following information:

Information Automatically Collected About You

This includes your IP address, which is logged when you register as a member or when you log into the site as a member. Your IP address does not identify you personally. It identifies your Internet Service Provider (ISP). It cannot identify your specific location; it identifies the location of your ISP which may identify the city in which your ISP is located or it may identify the location of the head office of your IP, which may be several hundred kilometers away.

Media

It is strongly recommended that, if you upload any images to the website, you avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, such as those taken with digital cameras or smart phone cameras. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data that might be included in images on the website.
