Charleton Tribunal report: Maurice McCabe 'repulsively denigrated' for being 'good citizen' | Irish Examiner

The Disclosures Tribunal has found that Sgt Maurice McCabe was "repulsively denigrated for being no more than a good citizen and police officer".

Well done Charlton, and congratulations to one of the finest boys that ever wore Blue, Maurice McCabe.

The elegant beauty of the Tribunal system is that despite having all the legal costs of a courtroom drama it has no standing in in terms of arrest prosecution...Callinan will die of old age a free man on a huge pension

From the reports on RTE1 Radio news it seems its up there with Widgery for whitewashing .....everybody was telling the truth ...lots of massive coincidences , and everybody very virtuous ....it was all a big massive series of happenstances and no one did anything wrong and should be exonerated

    FFS!
Is there any Incompetence Scandal or Corruption that would actually make the Irish electorate wake up ....It seems not, so screw em

Frances Fitzgerald to be back in Cabinet after GE?

Whats going to happen now that a Supreme Court judge confirms that the head of the Irish police force systematically smeared a whistleblower as a child abuser?
Hope that it's brushed under the carpet and forgotten about?
