    Default Nobel Peace Prize announced

This year's Peace Prize goes to Denis Mukwege and Nadia Murad "for their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict."

Denis Mukwege is a Congolese gynaecologist who has devoted his life to defending victims of sexual violence as a weapon of war. He is "the foremost, most unifying symbol of the struggle to end sexual violence in war and armed conflicts".

Nadia Murad is a Yazidi Kurdish human rights activist from Iraq. She is herself "a victim of war crimes. She has shown uncommon courage in recounting her own sufferings and speaking up on behalf of other victims".

A good decision. At least they didn't honour Laurel and Hardy.

Only cucks, libtards and feminazis are happy with this decision.

A long discredited institution. Imagine awarding Obama the prize a few months into his first term as President just because of who he was. It is is purely political. Llke so much in our times the concept of genuine merit has long flown out the window. It is all identity politics now. Your achievements don't really matter just your perceived position in the "victimhood" scale.
In the future when sanity is eventually restored the Institution will remain discredited as the currency of the awards will have been so diluted by PC that they will have to start again.
