She was on her way back and looked miserable and scared and who could blame her? Where were the ''men'' that day? The same halting site is where a knacker beheaded his dog years back because it wasn't giving him the attention he wanted. Sick fookers these ''men''. Any man who hits a woman, child or animal should have his genitals ripped off and shoved down his throat.
For Freck sake Lagertha! I admire your support for abused women, but threats like that highlighted, show your anger management classes are not working...

These people have brought chaos and misery to many for years and are the first to cite 'equality' and 'discrimination' when there's any response. Their children also wreak havoc in schools, disrupting classes and bullying other children. Funnily enough, many people I know do in fact actually see this as a social justice issue alright - i.e the need for the State to stand up to aggressive and law-breaking bullies.

I would think the increased Garda activity is definitely a response to the Casey vote.

Ordinary decent people who live in areas where there are a lot of lawless travellers had no voice up to the Presidential election to vent their frustration, who was going to interview them, the Irish Times, Ryan Tubridy, Marion Finucane, Miriam O Callaghan, not a chance any of these PC liberals were going to actually allow proper discussion of what is going on. The Irish Times reported the camper van and other valuables being seized from a premises in Dublin, the Indo printed the facts. It was a halting site in Baldoyle that was raided but lets not be racist by mentioning this.

It could also be the new Garda Commissioner ordering action to be taken, he has come from outside and may be willing to put the resources into dealing with these people once and for all.

The dogs in the street in Longford must have known the travellers were storing stolen car parts in that lock up facility in Longford, no one wanted to look too closely at what was going on but since Peter Casey pulled so many votes the Government have to be seen to do something about brazen traveller criminality.
….and if the incumbent wasn't standing then Casey would have walked it.

Its desperate to think that a segment of society were able to store thousand and thousands worth of stolen car parts in a lock up unit in Longford.

Its even worse that travellers who dont appear to work are able to buy houses and land and expensive cars and no one seems to query where the wealth is coming from, not the Gardai, not the Revenue, not the Criminal Assets Bureau and certainly not Pavee Point. Travellers are numerically a tiny minority in this country and yet the amount of resources spent by the State in supporting their lifestyle and in trying in a very limited fashion to deal with their criminality is shocking. They seem to be involved in a daily basis is fraudulent insurance claims and quite a lot of these claims seems to have been settled previously. At long last the insurance companies seem to have got their act together and are fighting these claims but this should have been done ten years ago.

Its about time the authorities in this country stepped up to their responsibilities and we have a lot to thank Peter Casey for. He has done the State a much greater service than that wandering poet enconsed in the Park for another seven years to eat and drink at our expense.
