48% of Northern Irish would vote for United Ireland in shock new poll.

I see no evidence of that. On the contrary, Sammy Wilson and co are salivating at the thought of no deal.

DUP actions and policies, before, during, and after the brexit referendum point to the fact they want a hard border.
Not exactly known as masters of foresight are they.

"They (Finland) most certainly are not independent"

You merely undermine any credibility you might have with that infantile nonsense.
There should be a Valhamics law similar to Godwins law that states that any argument that has Vals support is immediately wrong.

For example I might start a thread saying how cute baby pandas are and Val will join in stating that pandas are actually Chinese spies who faked the moon landing therefore confirming my point that baby pandas are adorable bamboo chewing bundles of fluff.

I'm fairly sure there's an actual Law against putting "Val" and "credible" in the same sentence. Or even in the same book.
You have to look at it in the context of political events in the world and the name of this web site. Politics.ie. It is actually communist leftie green politics .ie. But it's name is Politics.ie. If you want only communist leftist globalist Green liberal politics discussed, then you are right, I should be banned. But before that is done, the administration should make that clear.

Since I began posting here as a conservative, I predicted a number of events.

1) Climate change is a hoax, not proved, but several governments have shunned climate change policies. I was accurate.I located the only weather station in the Arctic Circle publishing raw temperature data.

2) Wind companies could not break even due to lack if wind. I predicted 24%, Eirgrid 33%. I was right, they are loosing 221 million Euros per year these last 3 years according to accounts filed with the CRO.

3) I supported Brexit, I predicted Brexit, I was right and I knew the cause of the Brexit vote. I admit I was not sure of the vote result except it would be tight, it was.

4) I supported Trump and in the last 3 weeks bet heavily of his win. I was correct, Paddy Power had to cancel the Christmas party.

5) I predicted Trump would not be impeached, so far I am correct. I predict he will run again, lets see.

6) I have helped with legal matters, of which I have a good knowledge. No lawyer will do that for you.

I am currently banned for starting new threads. My attitude is pragmatic, I will drop in while allowed and if banned completely fair enough. But they will have to ban me, I won't leave quietly save from boredom.

What will all you lefties gain if you dominate Politics.ie in support of your agenda and the voters out there don't agree. If conservative polities are winning, what use is it for you to post your sorrows? What kind of debate will you have if events have overrun you side?

You have to wonder at just how proper nuts the guy is, and how he manages to wash/dress/feed himself each day. How would it even be possible to sortof-function day-to-day living with that level of total delusional magical thinking?

Your are wrong on the Panda's and other endangered species. This puts my views in context. I just cringe with frustration when I see this. I get mad and so should any decent person. Read these links. Palm oil producers are wiping out orangutans – despite multinationals’ promises | Chris Packham | Opinion | The Guardian

On the moon landing it is a fact that 3 Apollo astronauts gave a present of a fossilized tree to the Dutch Prime Minister telling him is was a piece of moon rock. Why should anyone believe liars like that? They claimed 300 kg if rock was brought back and they can't spare a lump for Holland. Ha? 'Moon rock' given to Holland by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin is fake - Telegraph

Beige anorak, purple knickers? Upon the second dawn of the eleventeenth day of Julember. Wild swans on horseback!

Multi-coloured washing machine parts, but the giraffe has escaped.

There will be no United Ireland in the lifetime of anyone now living. I don't wish for that, I am sort of neutral. Its the reality and the more the South goes left, the lest likely it will be. You lefties have destroyed any prospect of it. Northern Catholics don't want you migrants or you abortion of healthy babies.

Morning hydrotherapy in a bathtub with electroconvulsive probes bolted to strategic locations on the cranium not only performs the body's hygiene requirements but can also reduce uncontrolled psychopathic excesses to a manageable level of lunacy. Unfortunately, the effect wears off after an hour or two but the brief release from the straitjacket is believed to have therapeutic effects.

In this patient's case, it would be advisable to construct such a facility beside a nuclear power station to ensure sufficient voltage for the requirements of his therapy.

Since I was old enough to observe, I saw the poor people from the South head north to buy food, fuel and tools at 70% the price in the South. I was able to equip my workshop with high quality used tools at variety markets for 10% of the price here. I can order stuff on line and have it sent to a Northern Address saving postage. My hobby is target shooting , my Northern friends can have a more than one gun on the one licence, here it's 80 Euros per gun for 3 years and its a big complement to get it. Reloading is not allowed here it is in the North.

The supply chain has improved in the south in recent years, but nothing like the North. A few friends of mine moved house to the North and would not come back. No do they have to suffer Eamon Ryan.
in the 60s and 70s fuel was cheaper in the ROI. There's lots of price differentials. Also you're raving.
