Shows how badly planned the country is. Look how many small towns there are all over the place compared to the UK where vast, vast tracts of land are clearly rural in nature while the massive conglomerations stand out (in general). A sprawling incoherent mess. Brilliant image though

Nice picture. Notice how underpopulated we are compared with other -in this case our neighbour - European countries.

We aren't underpopulated.
Ah we are. Sure we'd 8 million here in the 1840's. our problem is that whatever population we have, it's so damn sprawled into a plethora of small towns that we can't service them with anything. Compared even to our, almost equally badly planned neighbour, they have concentrated development into large towns and actual cities far more - therefore they have a better rail and bus service (though far from prefect and by no means a model)

Ballina needs to be watched. Looks like it gets up and moves over to Westport under the cover of dark. Because that's not where it is during the daytime.
Boyle seems to be using an awful lot of Street lights for only 2k people. Do we need Roscommon in this state is the question? What has Roscommon ever done for us? Is this typical of the wastage people from Roscommon?

We are. In order to get beyond tattie hokin' we are. There is a very low tax base because of it and we are constantly in trouble because of it.

Beautiful picture. Can you see me waving in the dark, just on the outskirts of Castlebar? Most of the houses have been cut off by the ESB, no jobs, no money. Not even a bit of cheese.

Lovely picture. I'm gonna murder those kids though - I warned them to turn off the lights before they went to bed :)

What are the large blue grid-like markings? They look like either giant space-daggers hitting Britain or very tall buildings. :D
