A good point by Ganley. I wonder how many other Banks in the EU slipped through the stress tests in the same manner that AIB did.

Looks like Lenihan is not the only politician in Europe telling porkies and gilding the Banks lilys.

I'm currently in Galway and heard a clap of thunder. Was curious what it might have been.

Isn't there an association between Ganley and this site? Has he been monitoring it, and now has decided that the time is opportune to move, sees his angle, is ready to ride public opinion on the politics.ie wave? (or something :))... Wasn't it Marx used to talk about timing things right. Where's the poster Mwahahahaha?!

IMO, people will probably look at Ganley differently should he choose to enter public life again. He was well received in the West and the NW during the Lisbon campaign. He carried Donegal as a anti-Lisbon county despite Mary Caughlan.

He had a great deal of appeal and if he ran for a seat in the Dáil he would probably get one. Question is where? Donegal or Galway. :shock2:
