At the very least he could have given the sash a blast for a bit of culture.
ah no, sure where was he gonna find 5000 pallets, 2000 tyres, lots of racist material, flags of other countries and pics of dead people at 1:30am in Manhattan ? ... and anyway, I dont think the NY cops, being of proper Paddy stock would have appreciated a bonefire at that time of the morning...

Now, if he had planned ahead and asked the OOs cousins in the KKK then he might have had a chance

as per usual, more DUP incompetence

Northern friend of a unionist persuasion assures me that it's not all negative re RHI.
As the Eurovision is on in Israel next year and that country is close to the heart of many unionists, there's a push on to have NI with its own entry. Jonathan Bell is a shoe-in to get the gig.

and the DUPlicity continues ... looks like the DUPpers have now been caught hiding emails too ... quelle surprise

More than a week after a potentially crucial email was given to the RHI Inquiry hours before the appearance of a powerful DUP figure, mystery still surrounds why it arrived more than a year after the inquiry compelled the production of all documentation.

I wonder can the inquiry get the powers to trawl through the DUPs servers rather than request "compliance" on this ?

there's no feckin way the DUP are ever going to hand over "all" the evidence voluntarily :cautious:

Just more proof that the civil service and the DUP seemed to be in cahoots over RHI.... (as well as attempting to cover up Snarlenes involvement)

A senior civil servant who once likened RHI funding to “free money” sent an email to Arlene Foster’s special advisor which appears to show that he had a similar attitude at the point where the scheme was running out of control.

The email alluded to a then belief shared by both men that the scheme was entirely funded from the Treasury. Another email which Dr Crawford sent to a DUP colleague shows that the Spad felt it would be beneficial to over-spend on the scheme because Stormont wasn’t paying for it.

It’s depressing to read praise of Foster’s performance at the Inquiry as if the truth of her woeful incompetence doesn’t matter. Had she any integrity she would have resigned a long time ago.

What is really depressing pal is the fact this inquiry got so far WITHOUT the introduction of wrist bracelets for these despicable gangsters.:mad2:

Exactly ... like the Paisley/Sri Lanka debacle, it will only embolden their disgusting arrogance!

Good grief  .... Simon Hamilton "anonymously" leaking emails to his own depts civil servants & the media.. all in an attempt to blame civil servants for RHI instead of the DUP .....

The former minister admits it's "not my proudest moment" and is one of "many things that I regret" doing at the time when the DUP was under huge pressure about the RHI in December 2016 and January 2017.

Inquiry panellist Dame Una O'Brien asks: "[You sent it] to your own permanent secretary anonymously? I just want to be sure I heard that properly."

these people really are a fooking joke ....
