In a week that Abortion on Demand is voted for - our Birth Rate continues to drop further....

Birth rate continues to fall as average maternal age rises

The number of births in Ireland is continuing to fall, while the average age of mothers is rising.

There were 62,053 registered births in Ireland last year, 1,844 fewer than in 2016.

The annual birth rate stands at 12.9 per 1,000 of population, compared to 16.1 per 1,000 population in 2007.

https://www.rte.ie/news/ireland/2018/0530/967066-birthrate/

If anything show just how devastating and short sighted that decision is then the latest figures confirm that we our a Nation in rapid Decline

The consequences of AOD will be an even further decline in the Irish Population

If we cannot replace and grow our population

- then we are facing the Death of the Irish Nation

From being A Nation Once Again

- we will be

- A Nation that Once Was...

Go Figure

ADD

More than three-quarters (77.3%) of births were to Irish mothers, while a further 11.5% of births were to women of EU nationality.

If you factor that in then the birth rate amongst the Irish is even lower again

If there are fewer pregnancies in the first place then there are going to be fewer abortions.

If the government wants people having more children then they need to tackle the extortionate cost of childcare and housing.

We are a province of an empire again.

Independence lasted until the Single European Act - the nEU empire's equivalent of a first step towards another Act of Union.

The nEU imperial racket is not taking any risks.

The toys are going out of the pram.

Next will be "population displacement"/racism theories.

What will happen and it's inevitable, is more migration of faithful people from Islamic countries into Europe. This is future no matter how you feel.

Oh dear...

Our birth rate is declining for a number of reasons:

-Women are no longer treated as baby factories (also relevant to your nonsense about AOD)

-contraception is freely available

-people will have children at a time of their choosing

-get over it, you lost

Suggest you try and form a cogent* argument for increasing the birth rate, rather than expounding on your lingering butthurt.

(* cogent does not mean keeping blacks and other foreigners out)

Ireland, the Southern part has always been part on one empire or another. From 1690 to 1921 it was part of the British empire, from the 1920's to the 1980's it was part of the American one. Now it is seemingly part of the European one.

Anyone with a University education who voted Yes must have known that they were voting to bring the historic Irish Nation, at least outside of Ulster, to an end within two generations. This is a sobering thought- but I don't believe that people could be that stupid, and even if they were the Ruling Elites who pushed for this cannot be.

The solution lies with the 700K No voters who can just breed more and this time do it for Ireland.

I have observed the output of the Irish third level sector.

There is a reason why Google hires so few of them.

The boss of US Multinational Digital in Galway in the 1970s was waiting months for a telephone connection from the semi state in charge. And waiting. And waiting.

He eventually decided to camp outside the house of Conor Crusie O'Brien.

And that made very little difference either. O'Brien had other priorities. Veneer level priorities.

The Yanks must have been getting lousy value for money.

I hope everyone concerned with this has had their four children to make up for the others.

And if you can't have kids for some reason - you have adopted or are fostering others.

And you definitely aren't using any artificial contraception at all.

To be fair, it's been a while since we had a good old-fashioned population displacement thread.

The usual suspects must have warnings they haven't had a chance to use in days!
