Mary Lou's mug was never off the tv and see what good that did her crew.
I used to work with someone whose wife worked for a multinational. She had all the latest HR guff at her fingertips and told him that people are more likely to be promoted if mangers know them. He took her advice on board and found every possible excuse to get into conversation with senior managers. What neither of them had factored in was that he was an arsehole so the more the managers saw of him the less he was likely to get promoted.

McDonald is similarly afflicted.

AK47 will launch a leadership challenge which I doubt he would win and if he did he would be an even more useless tit at the job that Howling Benny

AK47 is an old school do'er, whereas the job description requires a talker with waffling being a bonus.

O'Riordáin it is.
Labour need an agitator like Kelly. O'Riordan will get side tracked onto liberal issues - something like free houses for every African who arrives.

eft and SF in particular

Clearly you were as usual blinded by both your misogyny and hatred of the left but SF in particular and in fact over 3 debates the more people saw of MLM , the more they liked her

don't know a whole lot about Ged Nash but I think I'd prefer him if he puts standards of living/work first, or atleast says he will.

In the first debate she was saved by Howlin intervening when she was in trouble, similarly in the second debate the two morons Cooper and Yates let her off the hook because they were unprofessional.

In the final debate, an in the Dobson interview the night before, she had no cover and performed abysmally. By that time though the wind behind SF was so strong that nothing she did was going to stop the surge.

That sort of luck doesn't last forever.

Howlin got a bit longer than 6 months from Labour and look at them now. FF-FG stole the soft left smoked salmon socialist social change clothes a decade ago, or longer, and Labour appears to me to have decided that in an utterly changed world, more of the same was the solution.

Been worried about Labour for a long time, but even more worried now. If Kelly gets in it will be the AK47 Show - and he won't give a toss about anything besides his own image.
Someone said Labour needs an agitator - that's the last thing it needs right now. It needs a listener that will take other opinions into account. Not a fool that sulks if he doesn't get his own way or makes idle threats to anyone that does better than him (6 months for Howlin????) Kelly wants a title not a job. He'll walk around like Trump and Johnson rolled into one with a head as big as a pot. He does it already here in Nenagh when hes seen at election time.
O Riordan is the only hope for that party if it wants to be relevant to the ordinary working man again. Kelly would destroy Labour.

O Riordain is too prone to getting onto liberal bandwagons which was one of Labour's weaknesses since Spring's day, they lost their focus on their union base.

So do you think Kelly is the man for the job?
Or are neither of them up to the job?
Labour is a sinking ship - possibly already sank.
Whatever hope Labour has of avoiding extinction lies with choosing Kelly to lead them.

The very fact that Amadan is being nominated by Ivana the Unelectable should ring alarm bells Lab members.
