So here we are again. The co-operation of the so called Non-Sectarian Alliance party and SF/IRA has again came into prominence. How can two supposedly political polar opposites reconcile their differences into a relationship. One is a member of a party who has supported and glorifies the most foul and repulsive murderers while the other would supposedly oppose such actions with out reservation (except when its in the case of their partner).

"The couple have been together for a number of years and currently have a young son."

Its all part of a republican plan to take over the Alliance party in 25 years time. Boo

The liars of the pretentious Alliance party try to give the impression that they are divorced from the sectarianism and bigotry of SF/IRA. Polar opposite political beliefs do not share bed so to speak.

Bingo: Fruits over Fenians

On the subject of mixed marriage, 75 per cent of DUP members would either 'mind a lot' or 'mind a little' if a relative were to marry someone from a different religion.

Interestingly, more people expressed disagreement at the prospect of a mixed marriage than on homosexuality.

DUP members are more opposed to mixed marriage than homosexuality - The Irish News
It is understandable as in the case of homosexuality at least (in this context) the person would be a Prod. I would say a lot of it now is not about the religion but the culture. In Tyrone the chances are any children will end up being in the GAA and doing Irish dancing.

If it was SF marries DUP it would be more of a head turner.

The more nationalism becomes the majority the greater the movement towards that perspective for parties like Alliance.

We could coax Billy Leonard out of retirement. Maybe even get him to marry himself.

Are they polar opposite? I see little evidence of that. Both play the sectarian game in Northern Ireland politics to their advantage from the left wing.

Undoubtedly not in the matter of the virtue signalling audience they play to. Supposedly liberal values should not intertwine with the extremist outlook of SF/IRA.

The Saint Patrick's Day Agreement.
Unionists will call it the March 17th Agreement.

It took a few days to build up to optimal outrage.

Or, it's a slow news day. Take your pick.
