One of the things that greatly puzzles is why a very large majority of Ulster cradle Catholics believe that Protestants stand an equal chance of Salvation as they do- Ulster Prods by and large however believe that Catholics are hell bound. Also while I dont hold as such the strict rigorist understanding of Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus (Outside the Church there is No Salvation), and definitely hold to a belief in the Baptisms of Blood and Desire, it gravely annoys we that Jesuits frequently lie by saying that their own Father Leonard Feeney was ex-communicated for heresy rather than disobedience and declare "Feeneyism" to be heresy. It is not- it is an acceptable position for Catholics to hold to. Given that a lot of Irish Catholics have been fed sentimental mush by the Ecclesiastical Gaystapo I think that watching this brilliant presentation of the rigorists understanding of EENS could be very Spiritually helpful for them.
