Saw this earlier. It was a fertilizer plant, so could be an accident but given the proximity to Waco and the 20th anniversary of the raid there, along with the Boston bombs nothing can be discounted.

Limited reports of casualties on US media but sympathies to the bereaved and injured.

Dear God, I hope not. This is a tough week in terms of anniversaries, Waco, Columbine, Virginia Tech and add the Boston marathon bombing; hopefully this will not be another addition to a painful week for so many.

The U.S seems to be getting it from all sides lately, be it accidental or intentional. The coincidence with Waco in this case is most likely just that, a coincidence, but a highly unlikely or expected one.

Wow, 5 blocks flatten, the explosion could be heard 50 miles away, on the plus side schools on the block were finished and the old people's complex was been In the process of evacuation . It's shocking. Fingers crossed that the death toll won't be as bad as feared.

Fertilizer. Ammonium Nitrate.
The agricultural bomb makers weapon of choice.
It has to have been an accident.

Seems highly suspect TBH, given it is nearly 20 year to the day since the Waco seige. But it's looking like a terrible accident at this stage. Still, certainly fodder for the Alex Jones lot.

Timing is very strange. I wonder if America is now under threat from a domestic terrorist source.

Hard to know. Firefighters were already at the scene before the explosion so it could have been a tragic industrial accident.
