Another gangland murder, time to sack O'Sullivan and Assistant Comm. Jack Nolan for continued failure to end the slaughter on the streets of Dublin

Another murder on the streets of Dublin, a man slaughtered close to Ronanstown Garda station.
House-to-house inquiries after latest feud murder
House-to-house inquiries after latest feud murder in Dublin

There have been at least 18 related gangland crimes in the last year resulting in the death of innocent victims as well.
Weak and ineffectual Minister for Justice Frances Fitzgerald has been useless in aiding the Gardai to resolve the ongoing slaughter. As usual there is the mealy mouthed response from the Gardai etc while they continue to fail to protect the public

Tainted Callinan sidekick Nóirín O'Sullivan and her management team e.g. Asst Comm Jack Nolan have been worse than useless in bringing the associated criminals to Justice. Back in June there were 240 unsolved murders with many more since then
"Somebody knows something" - The families behind Ireland's 240 unsolved gangland murders

Is it not time that the above overpaid failed public servants were sacked and an appropriate response put in place by a new pro-active Minister for Justice to remove from society the scourge of gangland murders?

What should be done?

They haven't a clue ...CAB messed up royally against the Kinahans...beyond mere Keystone Cops... obvious penetration

Also the Garda's closeness to the Hutch's ... how's that worked out this year ?

And in any case, the feud is just theatre, the real action is elsewhere

The apparent impunity of the Kinahans is interesting.

Do they have friends in high places?

I'm not sure I understand how this is the fault of the Gardai. Sounds like the usual case of P.ie agenda monkeys throwing their sh1t around again.

No but they are expected to maintain law and order and in doing so bring these criminals to justice.

One of the things that is odd is that the Gardaí will warn some people that they are in danger. That person may then be assassinated, and what do the Gardaí do?

The appeal to the public for information. Yet they had enough information to warn the person in the first place!

Be nice if they investigated the gun shots that went off a minutes walk away from the local gardai station .

Ya know the one the gunmen passed goin in and leaving the estate ?

It's VERY dodge IMO that lucan is the station investigating this when its not the nearest one to the scene .

They seem to be able to do or kill whoever they want , Paul Williams on Primetime the other night mentioned something about the Gardai cracking down hard on the Hutches and not going near the Kinahans.

The chap killed last night is another who had no active part in the current feud , he is just a friend of Gerry Hutch.

Ireland seems to be pretty good when you look at the big picture.

There is simply just a hostile takeover taken place in the Drug trade. The cops are busy with all the everyday crap and a new Company is taken over this lucrative trade.

Not the fault of the Gardai, the failure of the Gardai to solve numerous murders and protect citizens from gangland thugs.
I expect at the extraordinary rate of murders more innocents/bystanders etc will end up in the morgue
