Anti-Israel bias by the UNHRC explained

The UN has passed more resolutions against Israel than it passed against the rest of the world combined. And this has nothing to do with fairness, quite the opposite actually. It is down to Muslim dominated regions that make up the UN Human Rights Council.

There are 47 member states that make up the UNHRC. Now you'd expect these 47 states to be the leading lights in human rights, because it is after all the United Nations Human Rights Council, but some of its members, UAE, Venezuela, Qatar, Burundi, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Quatar, China, Iraq etc are some of the world's human rights offenders.

Now these 47 member states are divided up into five regions; Western Europe (The USA is part of this group), Africa (this group includes the Middle East), Eastern Europe, Latin America/Caribbean and Asia. The African and Asian regions each have 13 members. Latin America/Caribbean has eight members, Western Europe seven and Eastern Europe six. Now every nation, where Muslims make up the majority population, are in the regions with the most members, Africa and Asia. Those two regions have 26 members between them, which gives them a majority in the 47 member state UNHRC. Those Muslim dominated states actually run the UNHRC. They have an automatic majority of 26 out of 47.

So reasonable people can see why areas with genuine Human Rights abuses can go under the radar. The chances are most of these states are in the regions controlled by the Muslim majority groups. And Israel being where it is, in what Muslims consider to be Muslim land, is instead the prime focus of UNHRC. The UN is supposed to uphold dignity and security for all the nations of the world. It doesn't do that. The Muslim majority regions, which controls 26 of the 47 member states sees to that. It ensures that Israel is to be the prime focus of UNHRC while other genuine human rights abusing states are ignored.

Now for all of you anti-Israel posters, who argue UN resolutions against Israel, be aware that you are buying into the corruption of the UN and take note that any resolutions against Israel, by UNHRC, should be taken with a pinch of salt.

So we are to ignore Israeli human rights abuses because the body reporting it has Muslims on it?

Try harder.

Well the UNHRC does seem to be ignoring human rights abuses everywhere else, in their zeal to go after Israel. And when you see how unfair the UNHRC actually are, can you accept, in good faith, that Israel is actually guilty of what UNHRC says it is. Don't ignore Human Rights abuses anywhere, but don't accept the resolutions against Israel as proof of human rights abuses. Just see those resolutions as Israel being bullied by an organisation that is supposed to uphold dignity and security for all the nations of the world, but doesn't.

The UN must think that Israel is surrounded by friends who totally do not want to ethnically cleanse the Jews.

Two wrongs do not make a right.

Some if not many of the criticisms that they West made of the Soviet Union were justified but that didn't stop the West having a great many evils of it's own.

No, but it might be wise not to ignore human rights abuses which are going on in the rest of the world because the body reporting on them is obsessed with a single country.

What we are talking about here is much more than that.

e.g. Speech to the United Nations General Assembly, by U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Daniel Patrick Moynihan, November 10, 1975. After the "Zionism is Racism" resolution:

"... There appears to have developed in the United Nations the practice for a number of countries to combine for the purpose of doing something outrageous, and thereafter, the outrageous thing having been done, to profess themselves outraged by those who have the temerity to point it out, and subsequently to declare themselves innocent of any wrong-doing in consequence of its having been brought about wholly in reaction to the “insufferable” acts of those who pointed the wrong-doing out in the first place..."

There are probably three defining attempts in the UN to try and exploit the reality that Nazism in the postwar world has become the defining metaphor of absolute evil (and if "Zionists" are thus "Nazis" then it becomes a moral obligation to wage war against Israel.) Study these to see what all of this stuff going on in the UN targeting Israel is all really about.

I know this is a stupid question, but any evidence abuses elsewhere are 'ignored?

Take the figures say from 2015-2016 for example. - There were 65 of these type of resolutions directed at Israel, and 3 at the rest of the world! (Put that piece of information together with what you know about was happening in the world then.)

Imagine there's this playground bully who, on account of being teacher's pet, is let get away with it in spite of numerous complaints.
Imagine then his parents complaining how it's outrageous that their child is being singled out.
That's how dumb this thread is.

Now, that's how dumb people try to make sense of the world. - With pitiful little analogies taken from their own limited, childlike, total experience of the world, from which they try to make sense of realities they so little grasp, and have so little insight into, that it is utterly pathetic.
