100 days in and the anti-Trump bias in media shows no sign of abating. Was listening to that lightweight bint on Newstalk's drivetime discussing the subject of Trump's first 100 days and it wasn't easy on the ears. She was interviewing very failed Dem presidential candidate, Martin O Malley, and he had nothing good to say-the usual idiot guff about evil thriving and how "we" must not allow ourselves to be silenced. Some bleedin chance. And the person they had on to counter this partisan bilge? That would be nobody.....Chart similar Anti-Trump bias binges here....

They will surely get bored of it all eventually.
Don't think so.Part of their dodgy DNA at this stage. For sanity to reign we have to name and maim. The media don't like being called out on their bias. They fancy themselves as paragons.Heard that idiot Ray D'Arcy yesterday complaining about "groupthink" with regard to the National Maternity hospital. The irony that he was broadcasting from the Groupthink capital of the world was lost on him

They're reporting what Trump himself is saying - not making it up. Although the phony president makes things up to suit whichever mood takes his fancy. Every ****-up he has made is not his fault. It's because of the biased media, the stupid congress, the Obamas, the Syrians, Koreans, the judiciary... everyone but him. I can't wait until he crashes and burns- and he will someday ( soon I hope).

CNN buried the Clinton emails story while going wall-to-wall on the Access Hollywood tapes from 11 years earlier. Trump and Obama both had Flynn in their admins and both sacked them, but only Trump gets criticised over it. Obama escaped CNN criticism for criticising the courts over the Citizens United decision but Trump is castigated for criticising the 9th Circuit.

The press threw the kitchen-sink at Trump last year and he was elected anyway. Popular vote doesnt count in the American system deal with it. They are no longer the gatekeepers - the Fourth Estate has been joined by the internet - the Fifth Estate.

Its not really control though when theres a 60 vote rule for legislation in the Senate. They only got rid of the fillibuster for most appointments but not legislation).

Oh, Jayzes ... whine .... whine ... moan ..... whine .... How long will this go on?

But here is the memo:

Trump CRAVES media praise, and he is not getting it. Which is the reason for the whining. His "war on the media" and "media are the enemies of the people" were just a couple of episodes of low farce.

Besides, isn't the job of the media in a Democratic country to keep tabs on the Government? Or a neighbouring Government? Isn't that what they are FOR?

Is it just smelly Fascism to be always whining because the Man on Horseback you are swooning over is not getting the dues you think he deserves. Oh, Boo Hoo!

Guess you have to Suck It Up, or just Quit Whining.

CNN used to be a proper "news" channel that allowed both sides a fair hearing. Since Zucker took over its turned into a liberal version of Fox News except for the scandals. Many of its anchors have family ties to Dem politicians and former Obama or Clinton era officials. Amanpour for example is married to James Rosen.

I have more respect for the likes of MSNBC's Rachel Maddow. Whereas CNN has taken to saying stuff Trump says "is false" and shouts down those who disagree, Maddow builds up the story and only then - after presenting her evidence - makes her conclusions criticising Trump. While a strong admirer of Trumps policies (though not his remarks about Megan Kelly or on Access Hollywood tape), I respect Maddow as the last of a dying breed of serious liberal journalists, as opposed to the shouty-mouthies of CNN.

I find Lawrence O'Donnell of MSNBC's "The Last Word" to be the Hannity/Lemon of MSNBC in his penchant for OTT criticisms of Trump, such as comparisons to Hitler. But then he worked as a staffer for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. So again, the lines between politicians and journalism are being blurred. When you put a politician in the news room dont expect objectivity.

Christ - are Trump supporters still crying over this imaginary media bias?

It goes with the job, it's about time he grew up and accepted that - especially considering he helped instigate the media birther, hate campaign against the last president.

The two or three that are left on Pie.

The rest are like "What, him? Never liked him." :D
There's only a couple of Putin fanboys, neo-Nazis and libertarian fantasists that still post their undying love for Trump.

Poor Donald - his honeymoon period is well and truly over for most people without a massive agenda.
