No that's not what I said.

But thanks for demonstrating yet again how completely unreliable are your descriptions of what you think someone else's opinion is.

In your opinion. And as I say, you've just shown again how foolish it would be for me to take that as being worth anything.
I only made one other claim in the post you claimed was factless, that was that if aid was only given to minorities then those in the same situation that were not considered minorities would be discriminated against, I would have thought that obvious.

I love the way this vibrant young lady has you neanderthals triggered
"When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him." -Jonathan Swift

AOC has the likes of Donald Trump, Sean Inannity and Brainfart News on her case.

What other proof of her genius do we need?

The lady has proved more than able to hold her own, and many now fear to take her on directly.

Paul Krugman: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez exposes average congressional Republican as "dumb as a rock"
Ocasio-Cortez floated the idea of taxing incomes over $10 million at 70%. That would target ~18,000 people. Most of these people's income is in the form of capital gains that would be exempt from a 70% tax on salary incomes. It would thus yield about $50 billion annually.

If in "incomes" she includes capital gains, then she needs to know that capital gains are taxed only when they are “realized”, and people behave according to the prevailing tax laws. There is a strong negative relationship between the tax rate on capital gains and realisations; a 70% rate would drastically reduce federal revenue from capital gains. Experts generally agree that 29% is optimal.

Ocasio-Cortez is talking about funding major green initiatives among other things with her tax proposal. Bear in mind that Jill Stein proposed a "Green New Deal" for clean energy initiatives and public jobs costing between $700 billion and $1 trillion per year, which is a grab of up to a colossal 4 percent of GDP. AOC's more wide-ranging promises are based on projected income of a paltry $50 billion minus capital gains, and not much more with them.

When Jill Stein is the sensible adult in the room, you know you're in la-la land. AOC is gold dust for Trump. The more her witterings are amplified by starry-eyed Democrat fanboys, the harder it gets for sensible 2020 candidates to emerge. Let's hear more chat of how vibrant and brilliant and genius AOC is , please!

An alleged bias, and one you don't think important enough to do anything other than whinge about. :sneaky:

Jesus you are hard work. "If" is not a claim, it's a hypothesis. So is there any evidence that AOC has ever said that aid should only be given to minorities? No? Then WTF are you making this sh1te up for.

Once again, a claim is not evidence.
So the only thing on display is your own prejudice, and the large amount of sunlight you insist on giving that doesn't seem to help much

Now if you don't mind this is so tedious that I'm losing the will to live here (I presume that's the idea) so I'll leave you to nourish your prejudices unhindered.

I didn't even mention AOC in the post you said was factless,

I'm afraid you are, the fact is many Americans are more vulnerable to climate instability than their wealthier countrymen and many have no access to clean water, but framing the problem as belonging to a particular identity plainly discriminates against others who face the same problems but don't belong to a minority.
Which of the two claims/hypothesis is factless?

Ah, so that's your game. A little bit of blatant dishonesty hoping that, having renounced any actual discussion with you, I won't come back to point out your lies. Doesn't work like that.

The whole thread is about her, and that part of the discussion was about her right up to that point. So who else did you mean, exactly, and at what point did you bring these people into the discussion?

]Which of the two claims/hypothesis is factless?
Nobody has framed the problem in the way you claim.

I'm not playing games, I'd just like some clarification, I posted this,

To which you replied,

This is more fact free opinion.
Could you please point out what in my post was fact free?

Why are you now calling me a liar?

Because, as I said, nobody has framed the question in the way you are saying someone, (who? now apparently not AOC, even though that's who we were discussing) has done.

You're being disingenuous to the point of being blatantly dishonest. Or else you're just genuinely are not capable of understanding much of what people are saying, and don't mean to misrepresent them as you so often do.

I don't know. And nor really do I care much.

Hold on, you showed my post as another example of my fact free posting and yet you cannot point that out and are now calling me a liar.

Look AoC is clearly the friendly face of a fairly extreme socialist agenda. If you are a supporter of socialism, you are going to give her a pass. If you think extreme socialism has deep seated problems, you are going have a laugh at her naivety and ignorance.

My sympathies. Petaljam, can you not debate without ad-hominem attacks ? You might feel like you are winning an argument but all that happens is people walk away fed up with the abuse they are getting.

I have to commend Benroe for hanging in there and maintaining self control.

I don't think she realises what she is doing, I mean she keeps saying that all I'm doing is whining as if this site isn't just full of people whining, but she feels it nessecary to point it out in those who disagree with her, she calls me a liar for stating opinions without links as if she would accept any link to any media that didn't have her bias. As soon as she starts losing the argument she starts slurring and telling me how tedious the conversation has become, as if I were a child, shes a bias, condescending, pompous, angry feminist with a tiny bit of power and completely blind to her own prejudice.

At this stage, conservatives have learned not to engage with AOC on Twitter .... she burns ...

AOC asked a banker why the bank should not be liable if it loaned money to a polluting corporation, and got into this twitter exchange ...

Reality tv star tries mocking AOC’s calls for corporate accountability, and it backfires beautifully

This is not the first time. Your opinion is your own, but the lady is a star, very quick thinking. Very few have got the better of her yet, despite the fact she has been singled out for special attack.

I saw her exchange with Wells Fargo CEO, it was excellent.
He did that older white man arrogant routine initially when she asked did he feel responsibility for the pollution.
He gave her that "we lend money" you silly commie woman, "we didn't cause the pollution" routine.
Then he got it form her, asking had they an environmental division/lawyer at Wells Fargo, as it is customary for banks to have to run ethical/environmental considerations before lending.

He agreed they had and they had signed off on it as ethical and environmental (LOL)
Essentially he then had to throw his lawyer under the bus and agree they had looked at the environmental factors and gave the loans anyway, despite them.

She then thanked him for his time

The puss on yer man, all that Was missing was "how dare you speak to me like that you little commie bitch"

He wont be the last arrogant old white tosser to underestimate her and get skewered

Funny how the people who attack AOC are the same ones who apply the word "Corporate" to the Democrats, as if it was the Democrats who gave the largest tax breaks in history to Banks and Corporations. And as if the poor and sick were not being asked to pay for those tax cuts.

If those were really anti-Corporate and anti-Wall Street, real swamp-drainers, they would be lining up behind AOC.

If that was her argument and she came up with it independently, then it shows she is quite capable. It casts some positive light on her. She may well have the ability to learn fast but she is going to need to to. The key question for me is: is she an ideologue or does she have the ability to self-critique the policies she is advocating for ? An idealogue will not be able learn fast enough to survive.
