I was just wondering, because when I googled Irish Bank Holidays for 2018, various sites suggested it wasn't -

Of course with the Beast from The East making a possible return, we may all be snowed in!

St. Patrick's Day shall be canceled this year.

Some ape on the main board has said so.

Inclement weather, apparently.

Nope , Monday the 19th is a normal working day.
So do the ordinary plebs, in other words some of the hardest workers and worst paid workers lose out?

Yes , seems that way. They get the Saturday off and that is it. If they don't work Saturdays they get nothing out of this weekend bank holiday.

Serious betson, if you have been told it's a normal working day you are having your plums pulled.
