The Government are to enforce 2006 income levels onto us all, so if this is the way its going to be shouldnt they introduce 2006 cost of living for us all?

2006 Electricity charges?
2006 TV licence charges?
2006 Food costs?

If they want us to have 2006 incomes then they should give us 2006 living costs.

A bit simplistic but just shows you how much money the Government has pumped into services since then.

Does this mean it is the same tax bands and rates as 2006 ?

For some reason I dont believe the average cost per taxpayer being €20 per week in extra tax.

We are being forced to pay back loans of reckless german and french lenders
This should not be happening we should default we have no choice. At the rate we are being FORCED to pay on interest, we will simply not be able to pay the numbers...The guys FORCING us to accept this bailout/loan (EU) know that we cannot do this.
It is a short term way of covering up for the failure of the Euro regulation by the ECB over the last few years. This problem should be shared by ALL the EU countries, because it was the ECB that let big German and French banks lend recklessly to reckless banks like anglo. It is not just a local thing, next week it will be portugal then Spain, what is the point in giving the EU all the power to control our cuurrency if they then try to sort out Euro wide problems in individual areas.. Two tier Europe is here and now,,
Vote yes to Lisbon for recovery and jobs that is what Fine Gael, Labour, Fianna Fail, Pat Cox , Peter Sutherland Ibec etc. etc. What a load of bullshti they fed us.. We have to say this cannot be done THERE IS ANOTHER WAY!!!!!

Imagine if we were all still running computers on Windows 98 with service pack#69 instead of the much more refined operating systems that we have on modern computers.....

That is what the Irish economy equates to... Default immediately and lets start building a new economy...
