I must have missed something. Surely there's better anti-Obama stuff than that
Well when you have an educated black middle class democrat basically saying, Please Mr. President. We voted for change and now we're eating mac and cheese and he waffles on about credit card, which she said she didn't have, it pretty much does all the work itself.

If she was a white republican she's be dismissed as a shill.

no what she was saying was we voted for change and she hasn't felt it yet.... what he basicly said was while its tough on all fronts there are policy's implemented that will help these families, and while you may not feel it immediately they are there and they will help

then he listed examples

Show some respect. Regardless of whether you agree with his policies, he's the 'most powerful man in the world' (cliche but true) and clearly a man of extraordinary capacity. The lease you can do is spell his name correctly OP.
The woman didn't 'diss' him either, she simply asked him a direct question, he came up with the answer.

I guess that not being from the US, you miss the nuance. This is his ultimate demographic, she hit on all cylinders; Black, Woman, Liberal, yet even she is disappointed in him.

The issue is, that Obama is loosing his demographic, he has allready lost the Independent vote, and of course the Republicans.

"Dissed"? What the hell kind of description is that of the encounter? From what I can see it's a simple case of someone speaking truth to power. The lady also communicates like a grown up, which makes a novel change in American political discourse these days. But none of it is even in the ballpark of "dissing".

To see some actual dissing of POTUS, just consider what's been going on with his name recently.

First, why dosn't Sarah Palin show a little bit of common goddam respect and courtesy and stop calling him "Obama" all the time. That is simply not the done thing - at the very least the man is the head of state - and it again proves her tin ear and questionable values. Not much evidence of Ms. Palin's oft-touted small-town humility or old-fashioned manners, is there? Just contempt and vulgarity.

And second, the other group dissing Obama - in a neat symmetry with Ms. Palin - are those who insist on lengthening his name rather than shortening it: Barrack Hussein Obama. And I'll bet you'll never hear someone saying it without the middle name being spat out in an enunciated and elongation serpent's hiss: "Hooo-sssssayn". I don't know how they can even bring themselves to say it without instantly feeling dirty. It's bloody shameful.

No actually in the US we have various constituencies, and demographic groups, ie: Black, White, Hispanic, Liberal, Conservative and Independent, Male and Female to name the most prominent. Everyone who runs for office, and does focus groups understands this.

Obama understand this, He received the majority of the Black, Liberal and Woman vote during the last election, but it was the independents that put him over the top.

Without the independents he cannot win. The whole buzz regarding the video, is that Obama is bleeding support among his hardcore constituencies, and this particular woman represented that in a very poignant way.

Being that this Woman was Black , Liberal and a Woman. Obama has lost the Independent vote in a big way, and now his core is eroding.

As far as bringing Sarah Palin into this, shows the desperation of some of his sycophants.

The main Issue among various other subordinate issues, is the economy. Unemployment is unacceptably high, and Obamas awkward and dated Keynesian spending remedies are blowing the roof off our national debt.

America wants jobs, Americans like to work. Obama needs to put aside the Socialist agenda, and get on board with corporate America.

Business creates jobs, Business creates revenues, Governments spend the Tax payers money, and create debt.

This lack of economic sense is why Europe has longterm systemic unemployment, and the US is heading down the same road.

People were also writing Clinton and Reagan off at this point in their Presidencies. Obama, I am sure, watches his poll numbers too. Sure, he's not doing well, but he can turn it around.

Of course people are disappointed - it is the worst recession since the 1930s, though its officially over. People are disappointed and p*ssed off as much with the Republicans as with the Democrats.

Obama handled her well - she did not "diss" him, he gave her the respect she deserved. A credit to the US that this can happen. I can't imagine a disillusioned Fianna Fail supporter being allowed to tackle Biffo or Bertie on national television. And I can't imagine them handling it so gracefully.

He is a muppet. Over $2 Trillion is pumped into the system (which incidently gets added into GNP), almost 22% real unemployment, National Debt to GNP approaching 100%, budget deficit to GNP over 10%, 1 in 7 below the poverty line, nearly 1 in 6 on food stamps, and 50% of GNP is now government expenditure, foreclosures at a record high, house sales at a record post WW2 low, the Federal Reserve printing money and buying US debt and NYSE equities. The economy is run by both Bernanke of the Federal Reserve and Geither the Treasury secretary, the exact same people McCain would have picked. The same people who created the mess and are continuing the run into the ground agenda.

He is a Wall Street gimp, sure didn't Goldman Sachs donate $1 Million to his campaign? A s well as BP.

At least he pumped his trillion into his own people, not into a war in Iraq. And how much worse would things be, if he had not?

Enjoy the new wars when/ if your new best friends get themselves into office. It will make Bush's Age of Stupid look like Plato's Academy.

He sure did... the big unions! The same guys who spent big to get him elected. Leaving the rest of Americans, like the woman in the clip, pissing in the wind.

2009 Defense Expenditure = $795 Billion Euro
2010 Defense Expenditure = $896 Billion Euro

Yes We Can.

Who are my new friends? I support Ron Paul, who is anti war. So the figures above would be converging on 0.

As far as I could make out he totally evaded the premise of her question. She was asking about middle America going backwards in living standards, which is factually the case for sometime, and he just picked out a couple of elements but evaded the overall picture.

Obama's Secretary of Defence (who was appointed to try to correct the damage done by the idiotic Rumsfeld) is making strong efforts to reduce the defence budget ... against the objections of GOP and the gnenerals who want every shiny new toy.

Ron Paul is a busted flush whom no one listens to. It's his sold-out son I am worried about.
