This hatchet job of a so-called 'investigative documentary' was farcical, in my opinion.

No Jews supportive of Corbyn were interviewed, or if they were, they weren't shown.

And many of those interviewed that were shown in order to give the 'look' the maker wanted are heavily involved in pro-Israeli activism.

This piece by Jonathan Cook really exposes it for what it was, and shows that The BBC is now basically an attack dog for the Tories:

The Conservatives also claim the same unfair targeting though.

But if there's nothing there to find, then Panorama cannot find it. It really is that simple.

Nobody seems to find anything factually wrong with this, they just petulantly claim Panorama should be nice to him & keep their noses out.

I'm sure they do, but anyone who regularly watches the BBC's political coverage will know that that's nonsense.

But if there's nothing there to find, then Panorama cannot find it. It really is that simple.
They didn't find anything, so they interviewed a bunch of pro-Israeli activists, without stating anything about their activism, who went about smearing Corbyn.

The maker of the documentary also laced it with nasty anti-Semitic quotes, which regularly popped up on screen against the backdrop of eerie music, that were attributed to nobody.

What was all that about? I'll tell you; it was designed to implant a certain narrative, that of Labour = anti-Semitism.

Trash journalism!

Nobody seems to find anything factually wrong with this, they just petulantly claim Panorama should be nice to him & keep their noses out.
Panorama, if they had to make such a documentary should have been balanced, and shown interviews from pro-Corbyn Jews, and others who support him, rather than fill the program up with interviews of heavily biased pro-Israeli political activists, several of whom work or have worked for the various branches of the Israel lobby in the UK, and quotes of nasty anti-Semitism attributable to nobody.

Labour has a big problem with anti Semitism. 30 whistleblowers spoke to Panorama and documents are being collected by the Jewish Labour Movement on racism within the party for an investigation by the Equality and Human Rights Commission and it's likely that more revelations will come to light when they report their findings. Instead of engaging in whatabouterry and being dismissive Labour should acknowledge it has a big problem if it wants to lose its well founded reputation as a racist political party.

All part of the biggest most concerted smear campaign in British political history ......

A combination of Blairites and their media cronies appalled that Labour is becoming Socialist again (and gleefully repeated by the Tory press) and Zionists terrified of the first ever prospective PM who is not bought and paid for by the Israeli Zionist lobby

Corbyn is a believer in HumanRights and a supporter of the Palestinian peoples desire to end Israels 50 year old inhuman and brutal occupation .....so for the zionists and their fellow travellers (Red Tories and Blairites) he miust be stopped by any means

In a sign of the waning power of the MSM and grass roots political changes .....despite 2 years of constant smearing ...its still getting no traction and theyre getting desperate now ...reduced to a handful of former Labour Head office Blairite apparatchiks making unsubstantiated and nebulous claims

Pathetic stuff altogether

Lol! The BBC started with Ella Rose of the jewish labour movement? ..... The same Ella Rose who was caught working and offering money with Israeli government officials and spies..... including a Labour MP who planned on bringing down MP's who didn't sit well with them through smear campaigns????

The same one who threatened to beat up a jewish member of the Labour Party?
Wow...I am really really convinced about Labour is being racist and agree like a sheep already.

Regarding Labour party and anti semitism. The last leader of Labour before Mr Corbyn was Ed Milliband. A Jewish man.
He was leader from 2010 to 2015. So basically from 2016 onwards Labour became anti semitic?

The fact that the jewish lobby now oppose him has become a huge problem for Corbyn.

They can mobilize a lot of force against him because they have power even in America. Remember Mike Pompeo has threatened he might take action against Corbyn.

There's been no mention of the elephant in the room, Labour's reliance on the Muslim vote.. It's a given that large numbers of Labour supporters and members are definite antisemites.... even if the top brass are merely critical of Israel.

Imagine the cheek of having Jews discuss anti-semitism.

I vote that we appoint a panel of DUP activists and supporters to examine anti-Catholic sectarianism in Northern Ireland.

It really depends on how you define anti-semitism.

If the accusations thrown by Israel's fans here are anything to go by it is enough to just use the word Israel in a sentence and there are hysterical screeches of anti-semitism ! This totally devalues and demeans real antisemitism.

Redneck above mentioned Ed Miliband. Why was there nothing about this when he was leader ? It's all a farce to deter any criticism of Israel's racist policies and their disgusting treatment of the Palestinian people imo.

Why didn't the maker of the 'documentary' ask some of those Jews who support Corbyn to be interviewed?

Because it was a hatchet job, and those are the wrong Jews to sell it.

Umm - yes. That is sort of the point.

This wasn't a significant problem in Labour before 2015 because it appears to be a combination of newly-jopined Corbyn acolytes engaging in most of the anti-semitism, and it is the Corbyn regime at the head of the party indulging it.

Fewer anti-semites in 2015, and less foot-dragging to deal with them.

They did interview one Jewish supporter of Corbyn. But it looks as if otherwise the Labour Party really did not engage sending out only a second tier spokesperson to bat. Labour got themselves tied up in knots over NDA's which in the case of everyone else but themselves they are looking to ban!!

If a Jewish person who hasn't experienced anti-semitism speaks up for Corbyn, what does that tell us about whether anti-semitism is a problem? Absolutely nothing - because no one claims that anti-semitism means that every single Jewish person will have the same experience.

This is a bit like asking why latinos who support Trump aren't interviewed in expose's of his inhumane detention and separation of migrant children from their families.
