Think things through. You honestly believe that disability welfare will survive the fall of Belarus? Good luck with that.

There's no doubt that greedy Western employers are lustfully looking forward to get their claws on all that very well educated and disciplined Belarusian labour.

"Belarusian authorities have charged the opposition figure Maria Kolesnikova with “actions aimed at undermining national security”, a charge that carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison".

So Putin is telling Luka to put a sheen of justice on his actions.

He has promised to consider constitutional reform, but opposition politicians say this is likely to be mere window dressing.

Pity she is already in police custody.

' MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia will send troops from its Pskov division of paratroopers to Belarus for joint military drills starting on Monday, the RIA news agency cited Russia's defence ministry as saying on Sunday.

The drills come amid tensions in Belarus as President Alexander Lukashenko faces a groundswell of public anger over an election last month that his opponents say was rigged. The protests have tested the loyalty of his security forces.

The "Slavic brotherhood" joint military drills are due to run from Sept. 14-25, the defence ministry said, adding that the Russian paratroopers would return to Russia once they are over.' Russia to send paratroopers to Belarus for joint drills starting on Monday: RIA

"Kolesnikova, 38, a flautist who has said she does not consider herself to be a politician, has become one of the highest-profile protest leaders in Belarus over the past month as Belarusians have rallied against Lukashenko’s continued rule. She was one of seven people on the board of a coordination council set up to transfer power away from Lukashenko. All except the Nobel laureate Svetlana Alexievich have either been imprisoned or deported".

If Luka had his way he would execute this council of 7, without trial to show the people who is boss, little doubt he sees himself in the image of Uncle Joe Stalin as a hard action man ruling without question.

It's better to put them on trial first and hear them confess to the fact that they are puppets of NATO.

Verdict is a foregone conclusion, Luka will get his way but as for your expected confession, forget it, they ain't going to tell lies, no matter what beatings Luka and his police dish out.

Worrying announcement from Lukashenko about a common defence for Russia and Belarus, 'joint drills'by Belarus and Russia, and closing the borders with Lithuania, Poland. Some protesters have opposed the creeping annexation of Belarus by Russia

Large column of military vehicles including tanks seen moving through Grodno en route to Gozha military training ground close to the border with Poland. The regime has been falsely trying to present the protests as tied to NATO and especially Poland.

It makes good sense for Russia and Belarus to present a common defense against NATO aggression. Closing the borders with Poland is a very good idea, as Poland has been occupied by US troops.

Belarus is an artificially-created country without proper ethnicity, culture, and history. Historically, up to 60% its territory is Russian (populated by ethnic Russians), while the rest is Polish (populated by the mix of different ethnicities). So, it would be highly beneficial for everyone if brainless tyrant Lukashenko goes and then eastern part re-unites with Russia, while the western part re-unites with Poland. Similar approach should be used for Ukraine as well, however its western part should be split among Poland, Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia.

73 yr old activist Nina Baginskaya arrested.

Today in Minsk the police tried to arrest bikers but women prevented them. Now police have arrived and are trying to separate the women into smaller, more arrestable groups.

Women being arrested from a protest.

Cleaning up the last of the NATO infiltrators now.
