I resent having to put this in the "Northern Ireland" section, but given the lack of rational alternatives.

Also i have just been aware that forum rules state i must comment on any publication which i have posted and possibly satisfy copy right requirements.

And so, may i say that this is a fantastic piece of work from the IRSP in Belfast, an accurate and up to date analysis of the political situation as it currently stands in the city. Nor will the party have any problem with it being published on P.ie, feel free to contact their offices on the number contained in the back page of the Newsletter.

Don't be surprised if this thread finds its way to the Zoo pretty quickly because it is in breach of at least one forum rule, possibly two.
You cannot just post a copy of a document without passing any comment as to the contents within. They used to apply that fairly rigidly in the past, and probably still do.
Furthermore the rules state that you shouldn't post complete documents, for copyright reasons. I don't know whether that applies in this case. You can quote excerpts as long as it doesn't breach fair usage guidelines.

He likely wrote it, or is featured.

Im happy to claim responsibility yes.

Didnt know the rules were so draconian.
Those two certainly use to be enforced rigorously when this forum was moderated by Sync. Not sure about Stringjack though. He's a lot lazier and just applies the rules arbitrarily as it pleases him, so you have no idea where you stand on this forum.

"What happened to the Irish freedom struggle?" they ask.

Well, like the Provos, the terrorist wing of the "Irish Republican Socialist Movement" gave up.

"After a 24-year armed campaign, the INLA declared a ceasefire on 22 August 1998. In August 1999, it stated that "There is no political or moral argument to justify a resumption of the campaign". In October 2009, the INLA formally vowed to pursue its aims through peaceful political means and began decommissioning its weapons."

That's what happened to the IRSM's part of the "struggle".

So what are they bleating about in July 2016?
