She is an incredibly sinister character who hailed the USA moving it's embassy in Israel/Palestine, even going to an event in Israel/Palestine celebrating it- I am not saying that she is racist however probably for $$$ she is happy supporting the most racist regime in the world, or at the very least one of them.
She's a Trump supporter which makes her sinister to most democrats who think minorities should vote for them.I'll never forget the time she was barricaded in a restaurant by a mob of white men chanting that she was a racist white supremacist, fact is she exposes the hypocrisy of identity politics.

Maybe the true agenda is promoting facts and reasonable debate rather than obvious toxic shyte.

What's the genuine public interest in giving equal or even prominent showcasing to Birther, 9.11 Truther, Deep State, Pizzagate, Seth Rich and Vince Foster murder cover-ups, international Judeo-Masonic conspiracies, etc? The JFK assassination conspiracy theories are now generally archaic insofar as active toxic effect, but leave it to Trump to invent and smear Ted Cruz's father with yet another one of them.

Shyte like Area 51 captive aliens, fake Moon landing, Elvis is Alive, etc, is the amusing and generally harmless realm of the brain-dead, but political conspiracy shyte is not only factually daft but usually malicious and often dangerous.

Youtube promoting truth over lies, how terrible. Maybe now these loons can go back to where they belong, covered in their own pIss ranting on street corners.

Jordan Peterson has a large following and is a university professor. Youtube is now owned by Google and seems to be purging conservatives, who have always been an important and often governing part of the electorate in almost every country, including the country Google/Youtube is based in. Peterson is a defender of free speech and a critic of Marxism and its mission to control individuals' speech. He is also a critic of Identity Politics. His positions seem to me to be in the Mainstream of conservatism.

If it was Infowars or the like I'd shrug. Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro and Prager U are respected commentators. YouTube always allow people to monetise their clips. If they kick certain people off they can and will be sued where they cannot show a clear breach of rules. Whatever about Watson and other cranks anyone who has watched Peterson or Shapiro knows they are polite and fact based. and highly unlikely to have breached YouTube rules.

As Clanrickard says:
One thing I don't understand is the following: Why believe Paul Joseph Watson that this change in the algorithm has materially affected uploads by the aforementioned persons? There's literally no reason to extend the presumption that someone is being truthful and operating in good faith when that person is affiliated or has been affiliated with Infowars. Watson is such a person.

And even if it were true, this isn't really a free speech issue.

I find it funny that anyone would consider posts by blatant and obvious trolls like 'Dame_Enda' and 'Clanrickard' as a serious contribution to debate.

The WeAreChange people have a distinguished record of doing independent journalism, and they're not happy with YouTube's censorship and restrictions:

They also did this rather interesting report about you-know-who:

The moon landing hoax theory got a recent boost when it was discovered Neil Armstrong gave a present of fossilized wood to the Dutch Prime minister as being a sample of moon rock. There is no doubt social media has given hoax theory a boost which would not happen with mainstream media.

While my jury is out, there is one thing unique, the moon landings were a major step for humanity, in the same vane as Columbus discovering America, Cook discovering Australia, the Vikings discovering Britain and Ireland etc. The original getting into space was followed by various space missions shuttles and finally the International space station. There is nothing similar for the moon, in fact NASA want to go to Mars and by pass the moon. Why?

The moon landing certainly occurred. Further, the bolded part is sound and should also answer why the Moon landing was real.

We are a curious species and seeking expansion of our understanding and opportunities. It's a good instinct when done right, and overall leads to a smarter and more efficient people, but can at times be destructive too, all depending on motives and planning and development. We now reasonably know the Moon and whilst more will be learned about it with time and eventually done with it, we're seeking further understanding of our solar system and the overall universe we live in.

With these curiosities also come additional benefits (with the motives and planning caveats) such as advancing technology to do these things, etc.

And there are lots of examples of places being "discovered"/explored and subsequently more or less ignored in favour of newer or apparently more promising adventures elsewhere.

Humans wanted to land on the moon but once that was done, there was no real way of exploiting it, so they turned their attention elsewhere. If the moon turns out to have some commercial or other significant interest, you can be sure it won't be long before that gets harnessed.

We know now it can be reached, it's just a matter of having a reason for investing enough to go back again.
