It was one of the biggest own goals this year. Sec. Kerry spends his last gaining a Syrian ceasefire, and then within days the US bombs a Assadi-Syrian force fighting ISIS, killing 61. Assad calls off the ceasefire.

Why haven't we heard who was at fault? Usually, and rightly, if a russian missile brings down a plane we have satellite imagery on CNN. Usually if a US guided missile is aimed at a building, we see a cloud of smoke to prove the tech savvy of the US.

But in this case? Nothing. So what theories on the politics of blame? Bad info? Bad pilots? Bad tech? Or it's just the end of one admin, so the next one can deal with this'n?

As for your question, of course nobody will be brought to trial over these murders. The US Air Force is illegally operating in Syria. Everything the US forces do there is illegal, so there would be no point in charging some of their men for carrying out illegal actions.

When the US does it = Accident

When Russia does it = War crime

The narrative brought to you by our fair and balanced media.

Mistakes happen in wars that's just the way it is.

No, all the anti-ISIS parties had agreed to work against ISIS, then the bombs fell on the "wrong" Syrians.

Assad immediately suggested that ISIS had told the US where to bomb.

The US forces have never asked or received permission from the Syrian state to operate there. Their presence is entirely illegal.

Elements with US Military decided that they will operate against direct US Presidential Orders........... it means within US Military and Intelligence agencies there is a war going on which decides that what it wants is paramount irrespective of the wishes of its nation.

This is scary and indicated US does not have control over its people.

Potential a US agency could start a war and drag in the US because of a Treasonous act of a member of that agency.

The US Airforce had enough of Obama / Kerry's traitorous negotiations with the Russians - intelligence sharing with RuAF was a step too far. Hence they scuppered the deal.

USAF defying US CIC is called Treason............... it doesn't get to decide what it likes or dislikes.
Military is not a democracy.

US military has worked and shared info with Russians for decades as has been the other war.
It is what prevents WAR.

Well as you support US Military defying US CIC and the Military tend to be Republican in political orientation then if they defy HRC you will have to support their right to do so.

Indeed some people ought to be courtmartialled.

And if there was true justice in the world, they ought to be against a wall facing the firing squad when found guilty.

But, but America said sorry.

Yes. Problem is, they (we all) are blaming the Syrian-Russian alliance for bombing hospitals in Aleppo. America also said sorry when they bombed hospitals - just a mistake.
