On the blacklist: how did the UK

Initial reports say the the €10m awarded to 250 workers could go as high as €75m as the full scale of the saga unfolds....

The 'blacklisting' stems from the TU membership/activities/political views and in some cases the persons spouse or partners background and views... although the most common factor in many cases seems to be TU involvement .......

According to this On the blacklist: how did the UK article it would seem there was also collusion with parts of the security services in the UK on profiling people...

As someone who worked in the Irish construction sector for many years it was my belief and that of some of my colleagues that a blacklist also is in operation here ....

As some of the unions operating in this country are part of the same unions in the UK it is my opinion this investigation should now be widened...union officials in the past accepting the word of a member of management in a firm/company that was known to them without further investigation cannot be allowed to continue.....
