Northern Ireland will get additional money from the Treasury following an NHS pay deal agreed in England.

As a result, Northern Ireland will get a block grant uplift under the Barnett formula.

The exact figure is being worked out.

Public sector pay is a devolved matter and decisions have yet to be made for the 2018-19 financial year.

The situation is complicated by a continued absence of Stormont ministers.

You understand the contract renewal and pricing process yet, dimwit?
You understand bringing out the blue passports was a Tory fleg waving exercise for Brexiteers in taking back contro? Now Johnny Foreigner gets the contract over a British firm?

It's a common term used by right wing British xenophobes, ring SF and ask them what they think of it, I don't have their number.

Well the DUP already control Westminster, the next step will be the local councils and then the world.
Worth thinking about:

The unemployment rate in Northern Ireland is at its lowest rate on record, new figures reveal.

The Labour Force Survey shows that the unemployment rate in the province for the period November-January 2018 was 3.2%- the joint lowest rate on record (with May-July 2007).

The unemployment rate decreased by 0.8% from the previous quarter and 2.6% over the year.

The latest unemployment rate for Northern Ireland was below the UK average of 4.3% and was the lowest unemployment rate of all the UK regions.

It was also below the European Union rate (7.3%) and the Republic of Ireland (6.2%) for December 2017.
