Firstly he wasn't in Daesh at the time, so you're title is a blatant lie.

Interestingly current news story. The UK government gave one million in compensation to a suspected terrorist who subsequently went on to fight in Syria and kill himself by suicide with a bomb vehicle.

MI6 and MI5 should review £20million compensation handed to 16 former Guantanamo Bay detainees to check it is not used for 'nefarious purposes' says David Blunkett
This must be a different David Blunkett then.

At the time of his release from Guantanamo, David Blunkett said: 'No one who is returned… will actually be a threat to the security of the British people.'

Do you have a secondly ?
Prisoner wrongly interned in Gitmo receives 1m in compensation?

Anything other than the blatant untruth in the title.

Incidentally would you say his maltreatment in Gitmo drove him toward the arms of Daesh?

Thinking if I'm to be labeled a terrorist I may as well become one?

I can't imagine any job interviews getting past the "So Sir, this gap in your CV, where were you?"

Answering illegally detained in a torture prison isn't going to increase your employment chances.

Not being able to get a job (based on your imagination) justifies him joing a group that carries out genocide ?

Pales into insifnificance with what they have spent training Terrorists in Turkey / Syria and Jordan and the support their military is providing the Saudi's in Yemen.

He was part of a gang called the London Boys or Berjawi Network, which included Jihad John. Some of them were rescued from Somalia by British security services as well. Before they went off to fight for al- Shabbab.

Tony Blair should have been all over this post, TONY BLAIR ?????

yet again the architect of misery and millionaire bullsh1tter is proven to be a sack of sh1te for getting this scum off, Blair the nice guy , the working class supporter etc, he is utterly devious and only when you look at his record , engage your brain objectively ( Think David Kelly and his suicide??? Hutton inquiry and Kellys autopsy remain sealed for 70 years ?? )

Still the third world is pouring in, Blair is resting in one of his many mansions, politics is changing rapidly and Bavaria has banned the hijab, it is like a slow car crash that even a clown like me predicted years ago.

Stopping islams spread into the modern civilised world should be the first priority of all the feminist loons, the priority of all equality loons, the priority of all lgbt-mnopqrstuvwxyz etc, (it gets longer every year) the priority of pretty much any liberal movement,,

So, yep , all these "movements" are proven to be utterly sh1te as expected when it comes to actually facing up to a real enemy of their beliefs but hey! they only pick the soft targets as it makes them look good !!

Why were the British government paying compensation to people who were detained in Gitmo by the Americans in the first place?

The British Government seized the passports of 3200 English fans during the Brazil World Cup.
Some had only minor offences going back to the 80's.

Yet these cockroaches seem to be allowed to travel where they like.
Another ex-Guatanamo cockroach. Moazam Begg (also given compensation) was told directly by MI5 he would not be arrested or stopped if he went to Syria to fight the legitimate Govt.

As he was originally in the bay because he was caught wandering around Afghan in the middle of a war, it's a pretty safe bet he was already radicalized before both his detainment and before joining ISIS...

Its interestingly that so many of the Gitmo detainees end up in the battlefield again or committing acts of terrorism after release. Sortof undermined the arguments that there are lots of innocent people there.

Having said that Im extremely uncomfortable with the lack of due process for inmates there in Habeus Corpus terms. The Founding Fathers of the US would turn in their graves.

It is a pretty safe bet he was always a British Intelligence (Oxymoron if ever there was one) Tout.
