Second time I have had to start this thread because Sync is playing baby and removed the thread because I posted the image of the Daily Mirror that confirms this.

It would seem that its ok to post images such as Enda Kenny on Time Magazine but not images of the Daily Mirror, well according to Sync Logic.

Anyhow if you want to see the image you can log onto facebook and go to the group page Parents agaisnt Child Benefit Cuts" Or buy a copy of the daily mirror.

Anyhow back to the post in hand.

According to the Daily Mirror it has been confirmed according to that the government are cutting child benefit and protecting banker pensions. THeir source is Brian Hayes.

Fine Gael and Labour are declaring war against the families of Ireland.

What did the March on Saturday acheive - NOTHING!

Its time for direct action, its obvious fine Gael dont care about the people, Labour are nothing but liars the people have been duped.

"According to the Daily Mirror" is about all you need to read. From the subtitle you had before, it said "child benefit is on the table". Which means nothing.

What do you mean by direct action? Please select one or more from the following...
1.Throw stones at police
2. Assassination
3. Dirty protest
4.Creating a thread
5.Strongly worded letter to your local representative
6 Armed insurrection with pikes
7.Grumbling down the pub to anyone who will listen
8. Make Michael O'Leary King for 5 years and make Eddie Hobbs Queen
9. General strike (but you will need help from the evil unions for that and they are soooooo evil apparently!)

They can take Child Benefit down, and then thousands of mortgages will not be paid or go into arrears. The money is finite, unfortunately. People can't pay everything.

Do you not understand that this country is broke and that many of those who have been struggling by on their savings for the last few years are close to the end of their tether and that once they're there the 'state' is going to have a major funding crisis..?

What did the march against austerity achieve?

'Nothing' is right... because it was a pointless march.

Most people in this country are well aware that we need austerity to live within our means as a country and that no amount of protests against it are going to change that...

Now if the march had been against the unfair implementation of austerity that has seen middle Ireland relentlessly targeted while those at the top and those at the bottom remain relatively untouched... there may have been a better turnout with more people engaging

But then it was the poxy unions who organised it, and it'll be a cold day in hell before they'll be seen protesting against unfair implementation - seeing as they themselves are the beneficiaries of unfair implementation - just like various other vested interests and our rotten 'establishment'...

What I suspect is going on now is that union leaders are starting to panic - hence them stepping up their profile and their rhetoric...

They've gotten away with over 4 years of maintaining their fat arse salaries etc., but now they see the writing on the wall and that they will be proven to be impotent when middle Ireland is destroyed...

Bankers pensions must be tackled.

How much will it save ?

The €18 billion "adjustment" needs plenty of cuts.

We are facing €3.5 billion this year which will be almost IMPOSSIBLE.

FF IMF Anglo gave increases as if it was their own money.

Its time now to take "some" of it back.

A general strike would/could hurt everybody, however the threat that masses of people would transfer their bank accounts to foreign owned banks such as Ulster Bank could be a sufficient threat - obviously wanting all deopsits released in cash as a part of the process.

And another one next year. What makes you say €18bn? Do you have a link ?
