dont talk to me about twitter
the publicans are a cartell, cartells amounst other things do not like opposition, simple.
by your reasoning having say, a driving license, means all drivers would be part of a cartell

having a license does not make one a member of a cartell

my experience with publicans are that they are as diverse as 'car drivers'

If they are operating without a licence they are breaking the law and we all know the consequences of breaking the law, they are also depriving the state and citizens of the tax revenue due on the licence (around €1,000 depending on turnover). I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for the offending pubs.
