What is more pathetic than a grown man playing a computer game? I can understand kids doing it (though if I had any of my own Im not sure I would let them) but the reality adults burning up hours banging on buttons to shot "baddies" or whatever is seriously disturbing....

Anyway these videos from Greece explore the undercurrents and hidden agenda behind the Computer games industry...Subtitles in English...

A bit like condemning book-reading based solely on the work of Andy McNab.

You've clearly never experienced the joy of whipping some snotty kids ass on Call of Duty with nothing but a sniper rifle and hearing him curse everything known to man on the other end of the headset petunia

Go off there and play Civilization - you can choose your type of government - communist and fascist are options and get your rocks off invading the UK or the USA etc etc

The advantage of it for everybody else here is that it is completely addictive and we wont see ya until the new year;)

... or Bioshock.

or World of Goo.

Or Minecraft.

Or... well, I could go on. Arguing with someone who's not only ignorant of a topic but shows no signs of wanting to lose that ignorance is pointless.

P.
Or Portal. Played Bioshock. Never played the other two. I'll put them on my to do list.

In the meantime

She wouldn't like the tsarist undertones.

I love the irony of Sevenstars decrying violence though.
Actually it's a pity a few of our financial experts didn't play more Tetris. They might have predicted the inevitability the construction bust

Oh yeah, how could I forget Portal! That was a triumph.

There's a demo if SevenStars is openminded enough to try it:

Portal on Steam

Absolutely no violence (well, none that you can inflict anyway).

P.
Well there are those little AI turret thingys. And Glados. And sadly the companion cube. Who can forget her. Not like that nasty sphere you had to use on the replay. I hate that ball
