Considering where we're coming from, I think good consistent performances in every match will be acceptable this year. But they really need to get motoring next year, or doubts will start to creep in again. I'm optimistic.
Any hopes of a win now lie with the Roscommon match. A win here might generate hope going forward. Although a dead rubber game, I presume they'll take it seriously, as I believe Roscommon will. I would be expecting a big crowd for that considering the way Cork have been playing and that the match is at home. Also Roscommon supporters travel well.
