Cormac Ó hEadhra is a bilingual, very astute presenter,.
Some of us really enjoyed him on the Late Debate.

Now he's taken over the former Saturday show run by Claire Byrne.

He questions politicians closely, pushes them for answers.

His show has just started on RTÉ Radio 1

The National Development Plan and developments in thebNorth are the topics.

Guests include Barry Cowen, Lynne Boylan, Brian Lucey and an FG Minister of State.

Fg doing their fascist thing and attempting to ram through a 22 year plan without any legislation.

FG jr Minister and Baby Biffo coming to blows.

Predictably & possibly accurately Biffo Jr is describing the plan as PR.

Boylan says they are parsing the report. Will comment next week. Also as it's not legislated so is PR.
Boylan wants Ireland looked as a whole.

No doubt Barry would have gone for Tullamore as capital of the midlands. Thick ignorant bollix

You should have listened a bit longer. The fg plan is getting filletted for being dublin centric and ignoring deprived area.

FFu(ked before they even start.

My signature will help you understand why.

The current holder of the Cowen family seat.

Plus Airhead Lynn.

May as well have the Minister for driving off the plinth in there so as to make the others look like fools.

This why I no longer listen to PRAVDA-rte.

But.. but he is a male presenter. It is outrageous that our national broadcaster should allow any person who is not of the female gender to present any form of topical or regular news programme. It is also vital that these cushy and lucrative positions should continue only to be given to female presenters - as is now the normal position in RTE. I am shocked by the shockingness of this

I think Boylan is bright - she was an academic?
She moved to Kerry doing research but taken out by the Ferris family? I read that in the Phoenix.
She came across as bright so far.

Lucey said that about Anglo?
Before 2000?

Lucey doesn't like Catholics, SF and Brexit. There'll be fireworks yet.

Katie Hannon did a good job on Late Debate last week.
She's an excellent journalist.

I disagree. He keeps order.
He's not Paxman aggressive. A couple of notches down from that.
The Late Debate was nearly killed off by Keelin Shanley.

He just asked Paul Keogh about conflicts of interest being a landlord.

Lucey said that about Anglo?
Before 2000 ?
Lucey's quote was before Anglo tanked.

He is the TCD professor of Economics and Finance.

I have included the quote so that people will realise the sort of chancers that pass themselvws as authoritative figures on Ireland.

So he's exceptional in that he and his shares came to a conclusion. Unusual for an economist. :)

Tommie Gorman on now.
The Belfast deal was pulled due to MPs not MLAs who wanted to do deal.

Was it when bubble was obvious? And obvious Anglo over leveraged?
