Keeping of cattle, sheep, horses etc should be made a criminal offence.

These animals are destroying the planet.

Where do you drag these threads up from???

And why am I not surprised that there is a whole thread on here devoted to cow farts?

The most consumed animal on the planet are goats. Yet you don't hear so much as a squeak from them. Let alone a proper long drawn out fart.

IMO, cos get a bum rap on this one.

They have only picked up this bad habit from the humans who herd them.

Coming from sheep country, it always amazes me how yows manage to slither out of any accusations that they are major contributors to the methane miasma which is threatening the planet.

They are not backwards in coming forwards with their own offerings, you know.

If they don't fart they'll explode, how worse would that be?:(

PS - Everyone (except for me) farts!

Where e'er you be, let your wind go free.
Church or chapel, let it rattle.

As we say in the North. There is no division in Ulster on this matter.

My Grandmother used to say "an empty house is better than a bad tenant", that was when someone else farted or belched, but never me of course!:D

"Better out than in" was what my Wickla granny say.

But yours is more poetic.

What we used to say in da Nort when I was growing up was

"And that was a party political broadcast on behalf of the (you fill in the blanks) party. Now back to the weather forecast..."

Why pick on cows: you should be guilty the next time you discretely push one into the cushion (and try not to sit with straight back and slightly sideways: that's a dead giveaway and could result in you being executed by John Gormley)

Zoikes, by the standards of Irish university toilets Busaras is a veritable palace! Except for the toilet paper, of course: students and University teachers are notoriously spoiled.
