Fair play to him.

What constituency is he standing in for general Election. He will top the poll :)

It's been confirmed to me that it's the same guy who drove the cement truck to the gates or Leinster House.
The guy from Galway who owns all those apartments. Hardly the most deserving individual for sympathy today.

Apparently he is in his personal suite in Pearse street.

He is one half of HARMAC construction and has an ongoing dispute with the banks. Must not have been in the FF section of the building industry or he would have been saved.

rte.ie have pics of the crane before the posters were removed.

he lays into dermot ahern pension and golden handshake and references the minimum wage cuts on one and the other has the anglo toxic bank slogan

just out of interest does ANYONE have an excuse as to why the gardai destroyed them?

beyond stiffling of freedom of expression by assumed gov dictate.

if it IS the same guy who drove the cement truck he's going down for breaking his word to the judge and thats the law, but removing his posters is definetly an infringment of his rights and a VERY sinister turn of events by the gardai.

This muppet should get the jail.
All the keyboard warriors on this thread are supporting him of course while you are all safely tucked under your duvets in your pyjamas and bunny slippers.

Not just removed, destroyed. And this the day after the national, licence fee funded broadcaster hosts a hagiography for the ruling party. Strange country, isn't it?

They Gardai are going to be very busy in the upcoming election, from what I have heard there are going to be many additional posters for them to be taking down.

Logical extension means the Gardai will be be removing all non-FF posters during the election - and standing guard over the FF ones.

Fachtna Murphy needs to advise the rank and file that while it's their duty to remove obstacles etc. it's not their function to remove anti-government posters attached to them. If only for the sake of optics. Otherwise some of us might start believing he's just another FF apointee and that there's an undemocratic pro-government bias within our police force.
