Even if you are not aligned you can protest.

I attended the 27/Nov protest as a non aligned person at a union protest, the union beards got booed by many who attended. Here is some pictures I took with my phone ( a bog standard sony ericsson).

I would encourage everybody to get up to the Dec 7th protest. I am going to take the day of work myself. Dont worry about the people who protest under their own clique. This will be the last chance to express your distain for a long time.

I like this lad. He just came along on his own with a massive flag and looked hard as nails. Eireann go Bragh

Some sort of left-wing youth group is starting out too, somebody scratched off the face, but at least they are trying to form some opposition so fair-play to them. (and im a right wing dude)

Another lone marcher.

This is my favourite

I liked these lads they had posters linking to the money masters video on youtube and were really enjoying themselves.

In short anyway I just came along on my own, you dont need to part of any group to protest about the crap thats going on.

Why not come along on the day?

I'll be protesting in Dublin on the fourth and the seventh. I'd encourage everyone who lives in this country of every background to do likewise. It's vital that we show this government that what they did was not okay so at least future governments won't do likewise. It is imperative we do what we can to make sure another government doesn't consider the people of the state to be of less importance than the banks.

You're a fcking simpleton by the sounds of things. Military garb? Top billing for 'getting the Brits out'? ( And you think they are some run of the mill left wing youth group? Well I suppose nothing wrong with the odd mortar here and there, so long as they are forming some sort of opposition eh?

Clue for you: when they cannot spell the biggest word on their poster, they are not exactly the brains trust capable of figuring out how to get us too a better place.

I will be there on 7th. I have resisted up to now because of the obvious presence of those I do not want to be associated with.

But I can do my own thing. Have to now.

I just hope the weather improves. Brian Lenihan I'm sure hopes it's blizzard conditions. But he has his driver to brave the roads, not like the peasants.

People need to protest because the next government whoever it shall be must do its utmost to get the economy moving.
The people don't want to live on welfare, they want to work and live productive lives.
FG and Labour can't keep blaming FF. We know FF are to blame for where we are but we need solutions and practical policies to get out of where we are.
All I have heard from all the political parties is undiluted sh*te.
I cannot see anybody who inspires confidence among the people I talk to.
They want a real alternative to FF.
Not a caretaker government with Gilmore and Kenny creating a load of wind.
They don't need SF gangsters or socialist lunatics.
They don't need independent gombeens.

So, anything goes? Al Qaeda? The Costra Nostra? The Red Hand Defenders?

If Charles Manson got out of jail and said he was setting up his "family" again but this time in Dublin, you'd applaud and send the young lad to help out?

Are you okay?

I was pondering if i should have put up the fianna eireann picture at all, it seems to have attracted a whole load of eejits who think i support them.

These were just images I took at the protest.

What could have given them these "eejits" the idea that you support them?

it's ironic that they would hang you for posting pics on a left wing party yet would vote for SF without hesitation.

I bet €50 that SWP or SF will start firing bricks from the back when theres peaceful protesters upfront.

the mind does boggle. :)

edit: oh and i'll be there.

It should certainly be a great deal easier for us to 'imagine no possessions' the next day....

Excellent! lol

Funny enough I was actually thinking of that as I was 'watching the wheels go round and round' in the snow today:D and how those stinking FFer's have been playing 'mind games' with the Irish people this past couple of weeks.

It's not that you posted the pic, it's that you said you'd support "any group who get organised".

I just applaud any group who get organised these days as there is so much apathy out there at the moment
That is a singularly stupid thing to say.

Isn't it?
