Defeat of Brexit will hasten the end of the Republic of Ireland

The European Project is advancing at a pace to full political European Union. The likely defeat of the Brexit campaign will smooth the path and quell resistance to European Union. The brainwashing of School Children with the prominent use of the EU flag has contributed to the acceptance or normalisation of the idea of a European Union, even a union that is evolving or being moulded gradually into something completely different to that which won people's consent.

For many the best reason for a staying on a path to full European Political Union is the abject fear of a life outside the European Union. An Irish Politician explained to me today that the EU would take care of us and protect us from uncertainty.

This is an EU that is strangling Greece an EU that cannot even replace its own population with new Europeans.

A Europe populated by people with such attitudes will wither away. The notion of pooling Sovereignty is nonsense, and is nothing more than a process of handing Sovereignty over to others on a gradual basis.

There is no Irish Republic as it has been extinguished. The defeat of Brexit will finally give one of our politicians the courage to acknowledge that fact.

The EU did not strangle Greece.

Greece's powerful managed all that by themselves.

The EU has baled them out three times since 2010.

The OP would make equal sense (i.e. very little) if it started thusly:

The European Project is advancing at a pace to full political European Union. The likely success of the Brexit campaign will smooth the path and quell resistance to European Union in remaining countries. ...

And how did the EU reward the architect of Greeces fraudulent application for membership?

Doesn't seem like the EU was very perturbed by the shenanigans.

All very curious really.

Are you saying that the EU should have refused to allow Greece to join?

The Irish Republic was extinguished in 1922 - over 90 years ago.

You referred to the Republic of Ireland in your title - that's the current entity that you fear will disappear eventually.

The Republic of Ireland is not the Irish Republic.

Try to use the proper names for things.

They will be right one day :)
This is meaningless. Like a stopped clock showing the right time twice a day.
In the long term we are all dead. Even the Universe is probably not for ever.
