Indeed, if we can't keep up the population then they might as well come and do it for us.

You have it all wrong! If they have all those future freeloaders and you know damned well they will be just that, then it is they themselves who are penalising the children. Do you honestly believe that the children will grow into adults with a different mindset than their parents?
Some will, some won't. Probably more will than won't. The parents do not "own" the children, they are society's to protect. Society correctly believes the best protection they can get is in the care of their parents. I have a view of society where the rich help the poor, the strong help the week, the privileged help the disadvantaged etc.

Most of the time the best help is helping them to help themselves, not to free stuff but to stuff they can obtain themselves. Why are either of these parents not working? When did they last work? If they have not worked in a long time (or ever), why not? Is leaving them on the dole the best help we can give them?

I think not. If they lack skills, part of their conditions to receiving the dole is to make them reskill in an area that suits them. Give them the training and then assist them in finding a job. There should be a time limit put on this too as some people only milk the system. I'm not saying this couple are, I'm merely talking in general terms but see no reason why the conditions should not be applied to these people too....for equality sake and all that. They would like to be treated fairly, right?

We don't really have one. We are very near replacement level. I heard this discussed on the radio recently and they were saying that the demigraphic crisis was something in the future rather than present.
Oh we do, someone outlined it to be and it is terrifying.

Another thing is that we are supposed to have kids in our teens and twenties however now because of Libtardism Gaelic women are having their first kids in their late 30s and even early 40s which unhealthy on various levels (for those so concerned with eugenics if you have a kid in your late 30s they are much more likely to turn out a milk sop than if you have a kid in your teens or twenties).

The other thing is that assumption in the OP that people exist primarily to serve the "Economy". In Feudalism and Socialism people economies exist to serve humans however under "Liberal" Capitalism we have the other way around which completely distorts everything and in the end will destroy everything.

Part of me hopes the council is successful here. I mean for the Ward's to argue "they feel they're being discriminated against for having an eight child" is, to my mind, risible. They're being discriminated against because of their income.

Somewhat chancing their arm with that one methinks.

So do I. However blatant abuse of this system leaves it in tatters.

Mind you don't slam the door on the way out.
With a second name of Ward you can take it to the bank not one member of that clan will work an honest day and most will spend time locked up at our expense.

We get that. Anyone having the least whinge about what Jews who are probably the most powerful single group right now in the "West" if not planet you think is the next Hitler but you are quite happy to punch down at the most oppressed group in Ireland.
The debate is settled as to their ethnicity. So to compare the two, one is per capita one of the highest wealth producers in the world, the highest producer of nobel prize winners, contribute greatly to science, the arts and culture and a mainstay of their culture is to be self supporting.

The other? List the positives.

I don't disagree with any of that. Like you I don't know these people or the their circumstances so I too will talk in general terms. Some people having been given all these opportunities not to rely on welfare will decide they would much rather milk the system because they are arseholes. Do you then decide the children are no longer worthy of protection?

It is interesting to see the usual suspects hurl out abuse at posters whose material they do not like, rather than address that material

Such folk are mere lower order trolls, who seek to stifle freedom of speech

Any time they perceive an underdog, they instinctually align with it

The Wards are belting out sprogs willy-nilly:

-- They have no employment
-- They have a small house

Those children will not get a good start in life. Don't be like the Wards.

Survival of the fittest! Don't work;don't eat! Logical conclusion:

Survival of the fittest! Isn't nature wonderful?

The two highlighted issues. I don't think "we" are supposed to have kids in our teens (we being women I presume). I don't agree,. A woman's sexual peak is apparently in early to mid thirties. So nature would disagree with your teens theory.

Secondly, I did not get that impression about people being here to serve the economy. I believe its the economy here to serve us but that requires participation. The Wards are clearly not participating.

The logical conclusion of your line is that the parents are incapable of looking after these children. Is that where you want it to go?

Well the problem is that is that Travellers really did have solid economic roles in Irish society but technological "Progress" has taken them from them, some have adapted and some haven't. The thing that technological "Progress" is increasingly doing the same to other people. So if you take this attitude to Travellers than it is very possible that someone soon will be taking that attitude towards you very soon.

The logical conclusion of my line is that sometimes you have to put up with the parents milking the system. They are already proven to be incapable of looking after the children without support.

BOTH of them should be given to this family.
Special housing should be available for those with large families, with one bedroom per child.

And the Church should chip in ...
Actually, you could kill two birds with one stone here - hope that's not an ethnically indiscrete metaphor. How about Father McVerry finding a suitable residence for them? Presuably he also approves of the mass production line being facilitated.
