I've just heard George Hook make reference to some advert that is up on billboards about Dublin.
I googled, not paying much attention: good God!

Raunchy billboard ad has councillors hot under the collar - Herald.ie

It is for men's fashion brand, Sixth Sense.
But it's not really the tailoring on the fellow that'll grab your attention, more the bare-ar$ed lady friend on top of him.
It is appalling!
Complaints are already going in to the Advertising Standards Authority.

From a road safety point of view, I can see how it's objectionable. Other than that I don't see a problem. This is a free and capitalist society afterall. M&S on Grafton st have a giant poster of a male underwear model wearing just briefs and you can clearly see the outline of penis. If that's acceptable then a bit of bum is acceptable. It seems men can flash almost anything short of a circumcision scar.

Deja Vu.
They said the same about the lovely Eva Herzigova in the "hello boys" adds for the Wonderbra years ago. That was also brilliant.

Gratified...

It's in bad taste but not offensive to me, this man at least.

Women will speak as they see it.

There are more important things to worry about.

I agree, quite unsuitable for Holy Catholic Ireland.

Yiz need to get back to the To School Through the Fields days.

A nice wholesome place for my holidays.

Some people need to drag themselves into the 21st Century. Nothing wrong with it at all.

I could look at her all day. She is quite the beauty. A bit dangerous for road side billboards though. I could see how one might crash when having sight of such a picture while driving.

Backslaps all round at the advertising agency, I'd guess.

I'm sure the ad isn't really pitched at those with too much between their ears but how is it any different from a whole load of Diet Coke ads? Sounds like a bit of selective outrage to be honest.

All billboards should be banned. Terrible, vulgar, ugly nonsense one and all.
