Laois is deep in the depths of Bogistan - a nasty, brutish place - and imo, the right place for prisoners:

Dubliner loses challenge to jailing in ‘alien’ Laois
A man serving a 20 year sentence arising from the shooting of publican Charlie Chawke has failed to get a High Court inquiry into his detention on grounds he is illegally detained in an “alien” county, Co Laois, where the people are “GAA supporters to a child”.

Frank Ward, detained since 2010 in the Midlands Prison, Portlaoise, and alleged his rights were breached due to being detained in “internal exile” in a county “culturally foreign and alien” outside the geographical jurisdiction of the original sentencing court in Dublin. This detention came as a “monumental culture shock” to him, he claimed.
Should prisoners have a say which jail they are in ?

This guy sounds like an even bigger pussy than all of those Provo IRA prisoners who whined for their mammies and demanded to be moved from prisons in GB (where they committed their crimes) back to Northern Ireland.

Tough to go to jail in a non-english speaking place. Best not to shoot people at all I guess.

What exactly has the IRA got to do with this story and why did you feel the need to bring them up?

Which IRA?

There are so many of them.

What have they not done now?
Any version of them. The ordinary person doesn't go around thinking about the IRA, since they have not been relevant for 20 years. The westbrit, however, never misses a good chance to inject some good old anti-republican sentiment into a conversation , no matter how unrelated the conversation is.

I was comparing this guy to the Provo IRA prisoners who whined for their mammies and demanded to be moved from prisons in GB.

The 3 Ps Principle is at play in this particular person's predicament.

The ordinary person doesn't go around thinking about West-Brits. Of course, a Ra head never misses...well, you can see where this is going
