LMHO. Another facepalm moment for Labour in Limerick as Mayor Gerry McLoughlin appears to forget that they are in government, as he holds this sign up to a reviewing stand containing his party Colleague Jan O'Sullivan.

Via twitter....... Labour's finest:) Limerick Mayor Gerry McLoughlin at today's St Patrick's day parade.

He may be referring to the SF ers of course: I don't think Gerry is against parliamentary democracy in general, as such.

Classic. Is he related to the lady councillor who made some classic gaffe a few months back?
Isn't that some class of Trotskyist poster he's holding up?

Are you insinuating that it possible for the Looper Party to be embarrassed ?

I am thinking of the time Joan Burton stated "we are in a recession, because we have run out of money".

And various commentary from Kathleen Lynch concerning the evils of the internet.

Anyway, the lamestream media never give coverage of embarrassing incidents involving the sellout socialists. They server a very important purpose - to make sure that they people make an electoral decision that is inevitably betrayed.

They are FF Plan B.

Lol. Brilliant stuff. Ejit!
I hear that he was taking the pi££ out of the small band of utopianist Joe Higgins' evangelists who were hanging about in their messianic trance under the sway of guru Cian Paynobills, and that he got a great laugh. Even the messianic Cian Paynobills was seen to allow himself a smile, though an embarrassed and reluctant one.

Where does he say about anything about the government.

I imagine some or all of the various FF, SF and Independent TDs are the snakes he is referring to. The sign means just as much as if a member of SF or the Socialist Party held it up.

Probably true (it looked a Trot sign) , but as we are a parliamentry democracy, on those narrow terms the biggest / only snakes are FG / Stickies

Name the labour councillors who were carrying the flag.I was on the march and i did not see any labour councillors carry the SIPTU banner,i am not suggesting you are not telling the truth but i would be interested to hear the names of the Limerick councillors you say were carrying the SIPTU banner.
