Did anyone see Enda Kenny on "The Restaurant" last night?

Of course, all of Inda's ingredients were from the wonderful, glorious county of Mayo (where the air is soft and the warm smell of summer heather caresses the senses like the soft touch of a blah blah blah).

Inda's gourmet delights didn't go down very well with the judges. He got 2 / 5.

I mean, if the man can't even cook who the hell is supposed to be Taoiseach?

You're about six months behind the times. That was a repeat

Kudos though for trying to deflect some heat away from your Shinner pals on the "Nutcase Health Policy" thread

I absolutely agree.

In fact, we should have a Masterchef-style 'cook off', in which all the party leaders would prepare meals for a panel of judges, to include Paolo Tullio and Rachel Allen.

The more Dail seats, the more ingredients you get (just so the voting means something).

And may the best quiche win.

For the record, Ruairi Quinn got 3/5 on their Christmas Special edition. ;)

But Enda will take a seat in the dail next time so things balance out in time

Aye. And look at the gut on the fcuker. He's well acquainted to the kitchen I' sure.

As for Enda, his biggest problem on the show was been mistaken for the spoon

I'd like to see FG Senator James Bannon have a go:

Starter: Egg Mayonnaise
Main Course: Steak (Well Done)
Dessert: Apple Tart with Cream and Ice Cream

Dude since when has NUI,Galway moved to Kildare? Decenteralisation?

I think this programme was RTE's way of apologiseing to FG for letting Bertie go on the Premiership a few years back.

Think it was great that he brought his own fish from Mayo. Wouldn't want to trust that non-Mayo fish, would we.

Most importantly, Enda was vindicated on the "condensed milk in the desert" issue. I mean seriously. If we let the shins into the restaurant, no doubt they will cook up a pig in a poke, and we will all get just deserts. And thats just for starters.

Yes, it was all very fair in the end. Enda was allowed to show that he knows nothing about food, and Bertie was allowed to show that he knows nothing about football, except that Man Utd. are the best team in the world ever....

Nonsense with an italian going by the name of Steak knife the Shinners will give us the best of traditional Irish and European cuisine --all freshly killed

I'm more curious about whether it's on Friday 17th February or Monday 20th February. (not having a dig, really; consider it a chance to get your message across!)
