For once RTE gets it right,Everyone knows that anything said or done on Eastenders is more
genuine than anything Mr Kenny will tell us.

It's actually a disgrace. A foreign soap dictates when an interview with An Taoiseach gets broadcast. This was meant to be live, does not matter what you think of Enda, shameful decision by RTÉ.

Actually, he has, he was pretty poor, but at least he wasn't afraid.

When was that?
He certainly wasn't available a few months ago about a certain issue.... remember?

He/she probably does but Sync would be along to merge it with some vague shít effort or other!

Apart from your snide comment, do you have anything to offer in the way of debate?
resurrecting a thread from 2007!

I don't think it quite reached the level of snide, that would be too complimentary to the comment.

I've been looking forward to the denouement of this ridiculous character's adventures in that washed-up soap opera.

Never seen Eastenders though.

Summer of 2012, Both Adams and Michael Martin were on, sometime in the wake of Endas Ground breaking state of the union address to the nation.

Adams isn't Taoiseach! Or are you saying that Enda is no more important than Gerry?
Just pointing out that Adams is refusing to go on his show too..
Simples..

Eastenders is on RTE 1 right now....unless they're planning to repeat the same episode again at 9.30.
According to the link,

In a statement tonight, RTE said: “Once we were made aware by the BBC of the significance of this episode RTÉ made a decision to simulcast the episode with the BBC rather than disappoint Eastenders fans.”

The BBC has been keeping detailed programming information on Eastenders under wraps recently, due to the confidential nature of the ‘Who Killed Lucy?’ EastEnders storyline .

The Lucy Beale murder mystery has gripped EastEnders fans for the last 10 months – and tonight, her killer will finally be revealed.

An hour-long Eastenders episode will also been shown tonight at 7.30pm as scheduled.

The Revised Schedule for RTÉ One tonight is as follows:

7.30pm EastEnders

8.30pm Operation Transformation

9.00pm RTÉ News: Nine O’Clock

9.25pm EastEnders

10.00pm Prime Time

10.40pm Dara and Ed's Big Adventure

And some people are stupid enough to pay a licence fee for that rubbish.

RTE postpones live interview with Taoiseach for... 'significant' Eastenders episode - Independent.ie
