Has no one told Unionism that the Irish government and the EU are at the opposite side of the table when it comes to dealing with the UK leaving the EU? 1, 2

How the hell did anyone in the DUP allow the following to go public "Barnier did not understand the dispute and was not an "honestbroker"" ??? Barnier you know the man from the EU

1
Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has accused Taoiseach Leo Varadkar of “disrespect” with his visit to Northern Ireland.

The DUP MP said Mr Varadkar is visiting parts of the region on Monday “outside of normal protocol”.

Mr Donaldson said no local representatives had been informed.

However the taoiseach's press office said: "As is standard protocol, the Northern Ireland Office was informed."

Mr Varadkar has been taking part in several meetings with civic and business representatives in Loughbrickland, Lurgan and Warrenpoint.

DUP head staggers today can be translated as: "Hey, I know we excluded ourselves from these visits, but Look at us! LOOK AT US!"

A distraction from the headlines as they would have been without this childish jumping up and down.

Empty vessels making a lot of noise and trying to look important in front of their base. The time has come.

The DUP are getting very snowflakey over Brexit, they know the games up.
The delicious irony is they were rabid Brexiteers, using dark money in England to push it.
I'm really starting to enjoy watching the crackpots and laughing at them!

The way the DUP just protest at things that be proven to be false and not the fault of Ireland is just getting ridiculous at this stage. Like the time Arlene said the irish govt had instructed the british govt not to show them a draft copy of the original december agreement. They are a total joke.

It's senior hurling folks and the DUP aren't even on the pitch. The NI office was informed and considering the DUP are not in government and are black balling over restoring devolution, no one is under any obligation to inform 1 party in NI of anything. And whinging, lying and talking out both sides of ones mouth, is not going to convince anyone of Jack. Pathetic.

The Irish Government, unlike the craicpot unionists were on board with protocol, no Assembly at Stormont,............ they obviously went to the NI Office to ensure complete and correct procedure.

Looks like the onionists have made further knuts of themselves...........AGAIN.:lol::lol:

Good article in The Independent today by Chuka Umunna today, who shows a lot more understanding of Ireland's Brexit position than anyone in the actual government over there in Westminster.

https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/labour-brexit-northern-ireland-border-michel-barnier-irish-corbyn-a8329591.html

Brexiteers say that the UK is too important to Ireland as a customer of their goods, and so the Irish will relent. But let’s look into the truth behind that statement. In the 1970s, when Ireland joined what became the EU, around 50 per cent of their exports went to the UK. Now just 13 per cent of Ireland’s exports go to the UK, while over 25 per cent goes to the US and over 35 per cent goes to other EU countries. We are a significant trading partner, of course, but not so vital as we once were to them.
