Why don't Palestine compete in the contest and also join UEFA, they compete in Asian in most sporting contests, but AFAIK, they can transfer easily in football, Australia went to the Asian Conference leaving Oceania and are also in the Eurovision, the once off that became a permanent fixture!
And sure don't my Beloved Galway Playing in Leinster for the hurling and won tonight v Ooh Fall Ya!
A song about the joys of suicide bombing?
Not a hope of winning anything

Maybe, just maybe, if the Palestinians Islamic jihadist theocracy ideology showed even the slightest respect for Western values they might get an iota of sympathy and concern. The Hamas posters on P.ie have a much better chance of getting a sympathetic ear amongst the radical Islamic groups if a bit of love is what they’re looking for.

Israel are in UEFA because they are not allowed into the Asian Soccer Federation. Palestine are members of that.

Easter is late April next year. Israel will be buzzing with Euro tourists for sure now.

Ah come on! You can expect RTE to compete with Burt Bacharach. I mean, they did well in their Irish leaving cert but seriously!

Problem with the voting system is people can vote for the same countries lots of times by using multiple phones.

Eurovision fans dont care about the Palestinians.
Caring about Palestinians is an on-line , social media cult. It's not like caring about the republicans in the Spanish Civil War.

Don't need phones, didn't israel spoof signals from Libya that resulted in Gadaffy's adopted daughter being murdered. It isn't that difficult to do if you have a mind to do it.

How is it a problem with the voting system given that it could happen in any country?
Assuming many people have multiple phones which itself is unlikley
