Remember how we fretted over the Austrian presidential elections? Remember how we tut-tutted about Geert Wilders and were so relieved that the Dutch rejected him? Remember the agonizing over the first round of La Presidentielle in France and the fears that some rightists might choose Le Pen over Macron in the second round? And the worries about the rise of AfD in Germany?

All that time, the fear was that those crazy continentals would allow some far-right loons have the balance of power in their government. Now it's happened right next door with the DUP/Tory hook-up in Blighty.

The DUP is a far-right party. It just might not be so obvious because we've been so up close to their BS for so long.

The DUP shares "power" in the NE of Ireland with Sinn Fedin, who supported the Nazis (their leadewr was buried off a U Boat with full Nazi military honours) and now support the Muslim Brotherhood with logistics. Dr Al Qadri of a Dublin mosque today said they ferry the Muslamic terrorists on their rat runs from Larne to Dublin. As the DUP share "power" with them they are indeed dodgy.

Good to see the DUP in a position of power - in a
deal with the Conservative and Unionist Party.

Many thanks to Sinn Féin - whose abstentionism can be
relied upon!!

Depends on how you define the right - or far right
Most right thinking people are pro business and pro jobs
But Theresa May was intending to destroy the British economy
And as for NI, there is almost no industry there anyway - its dependent of British handouts

The DUP:- 'For as long as Corbyn leads Labour, we will ensure there’s a Tory PM'.

( Result permitting, of course )

The DUP are creationists they believe the world is only 40.000 years old and that dinosaurs never existed. That's not an embarrassment for the UK government at all.

Eh? Al-Qadri has consistently criticised extremism, and indeed also the Gardaí for not responding to his tip-offs.

The Left are mad at the DUP for "Homophobic" views - but
rarely seem to criticise ISLAM'S hatred towards gays.....

yup, the Shinners refusal to take their seats gives the DUP even more power.

Nationalists in Northern Ireland now have no voice in Parliament.

Correct.

It only suits the sore losers in Sinn Fein and Labour who are calling them 'extreme'....

The two sets of scumbags that have no problem with the Provos' legacy....

Ah, but the wonderful Nicola will represent them there.

It's a complete no-brainer - she just needs to keep rabbiting on about the need for a referendum and an Irish Language Act and the SF/IRA dullards will be as happy as Larry.
