Favourite Films about politics

With the discussions about "SICKO" and "Elizabeth-the Golden Age"
going on, I was wondering, what are posters' favourite
films with a political subtext?

Dr Strangelove still stands up.
Farenheit 911 - the Bush family's tie-in with the Saudis seems to explain more and more as time goes on.

The Manchurian Candidate is an interesting political film
I've only seen the Sinatra version, which was excellent.

The Manchurian Candidate was one of several films based
on Richard Condon's novels. I thought the other-Winter Kills,
starring Jeff Bridges-was very inferior to the novel, athough
John Huston was excellent, playing a vicious parody of
Joseph P. Kennedy.

Another one I can't think of the name of but isn't really one of my favourites is the one where Robert Redford runs for Senator in California?
