Wow. Amazing insight into what is meant by Meehaul Martin wanting to change FFinished.

In the middle of an economic crisis, and they want somebody who is a specialist in running after a polystyrene sphere for two hours in the Dail as part of the response.

Oh well it sould be worse....they could be bringing back Johnny Cash...and I don't mean the singer.

The worst bit is those imbeciles in Kerry would actually rush to the polls to elect a county footballer, even....or maybe especially....if he was standing under the FFailure banner.

Paddy doesn't want to learn.

In fairness, people in Kerry were electing all republicans in 1918 when the nationalists in the north were being herded by priests in to vote for 'Wee Joe' Devlin's gang :)

This is just so impressive.

The level of maturity and insightfulness. I can see the BBC current affairs dept. picking you two lads up to work with Jeremy, but what a loss you'll be to this site.
Tonic....why not pick an economist ? Or an academic ? Or a surgeon ?

I mean there is certainly no shortage of highly intelligent academics in Dublin and Cork, who have Kerry backgrounds.

Of all the counties in Ireland to never send an intellectual to the Dail, Kerry seems to be the biggest underperformer. Even South Tipp could do better.

This is getting serious. That eijjet Noonan is out of his depth in a puddle, and the best FF can do is find a "name from the sports field". I mean do you really think people are that stupid ?

Labour were rumoured to have approached Seamus Moynihan before they finally settled on Marie Moloney, so FF can't take the sole blame on this one.

If they had played for Kerry, I don't see a problem.

What I'd imagine you do if you are a political party, is pick the best candidate and part of that would be the chances of getting elected, otherwise it's back to jail and don't collect €200.00.

But none of that was my point to you. I would be chuffed with myself if you were to take my point on board, thrilled skinny, you might say and some result that would be.

Is this a game where you pretend to misunderstand every post you reply to?
Answer his question:

Do footballers only know what's going on in Kerry?. . Or generally?

Will we see David Beckham as a future UK Prime Minister?

And you're right. A footballer probably would stand a better chance of getting elected than an expert on economics.

Do you blame parties for picking candidates who might win or the electorate for supporting such candidates?

Fresh new thinking from FF under the Michael Martin revolution.... LOL

You need strong arms to pump that parish pump, and Darragh is a mountain of a man.

In fairness now. Beckham makes Darragh Ó Sé sound like Ludwig Wittgenstein.

A video of a certain Monty Python sketch will shortly be posted. I can feel it in my waters.
