The last few polls are showing that FF are soaring up the polls at all the other parties expense.
They will be the largest party in the state after the next GE. FG and Labour will be way down, SF peaked and are going backwards, independants will be the same as before.
The rise of the party of power continues. The Irish people know that the global recession was hardly the fault of FF and know that the bank guarantee was absolutely necessary - MM did a job on Vincent Browne and smacked that boy right down while Gerry Adams and Enda run scared.

FF soon to be back in power.

"Soaring" to 22%, the same level that nearly destroyed Fine Gael in 2002. "Soaring" to 22%, half the level achieved by Haughey in the 1980s.

I've just read through some of his previous posts - he tends to post one about FF rising in the polls pretty regularly - normally around the time of the full moon. Which, I think, is tonight.

To paraphrase another organisation "they haven't gone away you know". FF will be back make no mistake about it, They were to entrenched and influential in all aspects of Irish society not to be. The reality is that after the GAA FF were the biggest grassroots organization in the state, and that level of support and infrastructure does not disappear easily. However if one looks at the policies being persued by FF nua one would notice a clear shift in policy to more populist positions they previously castigated. Indeed 15 or so of there key pre budget proposals were SF policies that they opposed whole heartedly while in Government. Also lets not forget they not only support household taxes they signed up to them with the Troika, yet now believe its not the time. FF will say and do anything to get back into power and will most likely succeed given how poor the current administration is.

Haha. Wow so much for ff being a national movement when you are soaring to a mighty 22%.Furthermore with the die hards being spread out all over the country the support isn't concentrated.

So much for all conquering FF. A busted flush if ever there was one.

FG are in complete control in irish politics. FFers and the Sindo will just have to suck it up.

The capacity of the Irish people to forgive and forget the mismanagement that Fianna Fáil inflicted on the Country, is boundless.

Four sure-fire way to get heaps of replies on P.ie threads...

1. Abortion
2. Hinting at your identity
3. Public Sector
4. Saying Fianna Fáil will be back in power soon.
