On those figures, FG is up about 3.8%, and FF is up over 13%.

And you think that FG is the big winner?

Maybe Mehole will pull the plug and go for an early election.

And to think it wasn't that long ago FF and SF were neck and neck in polls, at times SF ahead of FF.
SF really have well and truly being tranced by FF. Sinn Féin is not even at the races in the polls anymore, imagine an election, be even worse.

So obvious that FF will be 30% in 18-24 months time.

We never learn.

Fine Gael having Enda as leader and SF having Gerry has made the FF come back all the easier. And Gerry intends to lead SF into the next election, so they'll be no threat to Michael Martin's gang again next time out.

A bit of perspective on the poll figures. They've FG/FF on 53% combined.... +4% on GE 2016 BUT they had them on 52% combined prior to the GE a 3% overestimate of their GE result. So it's business as usual but they've balanced the FF-FG figures better in their adjustments this time.

How come whenever SF have a crap poll, a Shinner starts pointing to how 'the combined FG/FF total is down'.

If I was a Shinner, I'd be more worried about SF sinking back towards 10%.

Now if ever there was a misleading thread title, this one certainly would be in contention ....
